We were in Holland MI to visit family at the retirement village and left our 9 month old puppy with the staff at The Dog House Resort & Spa.
They clearly love dogs and wanted to make sure our dog was happy and safe for her half day visit. When we stopped to pick her up, they had a video that we could watch her in the play room on and she was clearly having a good time.
The application form was long — however, appropriately detailed and help re-​assure us that all dogs that would be potentially interacting with our puppy would be safe companions.
We absolutely will be leaving our puppy with the wonderful staff next time we’re in town!

Dropped my dog Chloe off this weekend for one night of boarding. I can honestly say I’ve never seen her so tired before !! She slept the entire ride home from Holland to Lansing. She came home clean, no wounds and very well taken care of. Staff was very friendly each time that I called to check up on her. I have already made arrangements for the next holiday stay. Highly recommend The Dog House.

We took old Onyx H. with us on a trip, but black fur and bright summer sunlight do not get along. If we were going to enjoy a day at Ottawa Beach, then we needed doggy day care. This place was great, on the road to and from the beach, about 5 miles away. We stopped in the day before to check on procedures and pick up forms. After a quick call to our vet, who faxed over Onyx’s inoculation records, everything was set. Next morning, we were greeting enthusiastically by the owner, who took Onyx’s leash and food, promised doggy fun, and sent us on our way. That evening, after a thoroughly enjoyable day, we picked up Onyx, who was all tuckered out and ready for bed. Dog House Resort and Spa opened in August 2003, has plenty of experience, is clean, and offered good care for our visiting pet. We’re grateful!

This place is by far the best dog salon and day care in the Holland area. The owner and the team are always friendly and pleasant and do an impecable job on the grooming. When I drop off my dog for day care once a week he is so excited to go and when I pick him up he smells so good (after all day of running around with other dogs). Dog House Resort & Spa comes highly recommended!

Best grooming salon my dogs have been to in the area! I have tried a couple local groomers in the area and I wasn’t impressed. I am glad I finally found the Dog House! The groomers actually listen to what you ask and they deliver. The prices are about average for the area. I like that my two dogs are both groomed and ready after four hours. When I pick up my pups they look amazing, smell great and are happy! I highly recommend the Dog House and will continue to take my dogs here for grooming.
