GOSOMEWHEREELSE!!! Where do I start?! There are so many things wrong with this place. The worst things are the drug addicts and drunks that walk, sit, sleep, stare and talk at you and the broken machines. They stink(both the bums and the machines) like mold and don’t have enough water in them to wash correctly. They leak and don’t spin out the water like they should. The last time the first washer quit half way through my wash and the girl had me change washers and the next washer didn’t work either and locked my clothes inside. When she finally switched to a third washer it started washing on hot water and the buttons didn’t work to change to cold. It’s dirty and it costs less to go to a laundromat that charges for drying. As far as the driers go they are very hot so they dry your closets fast but they are so hot that if you aren’t careful they burn your clothes and they smell burnt. They do this so you use less time drying them since they are free. It’s unfortunate because I live very close, have a big family and was frequenting this laundromat weekly because it’s convenient but every time I give it another chance I say I will never go back. This time I won’t! Save yourself time, money and the headache and go somewhere else to do your laundry. I only gave it one star because I had to or I wouldn’t have given it any.

The absolute WORST Clean Rite ever! Why can’t we give businesses zero stars or at least only a tip of a star if the establishment is horrific? I apologize in advance for the lengthy review, but this must be said. The only reason I came here was because the Clean Rite closest to me was somewhat crowded, had no available parking and had no available carts, which is absurd that they don’t have extra carts in the back, but whatever. So I have 4 big bags of laundry since it’s me and my mom and I decide to drive to this one being that I know they have a large parking lot. I was crossing my fingers hoping that it wasn’t crowded and when I walked in and it wasn’t that should have told me something because I’ve never known this location to not be crowded. First off there is no order to the place at all. Trying to figure out the sizes of the machines and where they are located was about 10 minutes wasted of my time going back and forth down each row. Secondly, the machines are in desperate need of repair. When the panel on the front that tells you the cycle temps and on/off button are ripped off there’s a problem– and this was the majority of the machines(smh). While there I heard other patrons complaining that the machines would not start after they loaded them w/their clothes & soap and inserted their pay card. So apparently some machines don’t work properly anymore and you have to get a worker to turn it on with a key. Third, one row of machines charges less than the machines directly opposite which look like the exact same size. Honestly, I tried to figure out the difference & couldn’t see any except the price. So no I wasn’t going to pay more to load another set of clothes into the same size machine as I was already using. I patiently waited until another of the«cheaper» machines next to the one I was using opened up. Lastly, upon loading my first set of clothes in a dryer that was closest to me I should have known something was up because there had only been one person using that set of dryers. By that time I was too annoyed with my experience thus far to fully read the sign on the dryer window. Yes, definitely my fault for not paying attention because I should have known more stupidity was on the way. Glancing at it quickly I thought it was telling patrons that there was a fee for the dryer if you didn’t use the washers, not realizing that it was saying there’s a fee for using those dryers as these were the«Express Set» for people who don’t want to wait for the free dryers. So after already starting two dryers and loading my mom’s clothes into a third and trying to figure out why the dryer wouldn’t start, a nice teen came over to tell me those dryers charged a fee and I had apparently used up the money on my card starting my dryers for only 8 minutes each. Understanding that it was my fault for not reading the sign I go to look for available free dyers for my mom to no avail. After going up and down the long wall of dryers twice and seeing the teen who helped me waiting for a dryer himself with wet clothes in a cart, I said No More. I’m Done! I told my mom we were packing up our clothes, wet ones, half dry ones and all and we were going back to the Clean Rite in my neighborhood to dry those clothes for free and God help anyone over there who tries to give me a problem and with that I left to go to a more organized, well maintained, air conditioned Clean Rite(which by the way I had no problem drying my clothes there for free). In conclusion, I realize that this horrible location charges way more for each of the different size machines than the newer one less than 2 miles away that I usually go to(guess that’s where all the people went). Why are you charging people more money and the machines don’t work, front cover panels are ripped off and altho it certainly looks like there are enough dryers, most are either out of order or a whole section has signs that say only for people who drop off their laundry and another section that you can«pay» to use for express dry— WHAT?! So people who are there have to wait for a dryer for a long time with wet clothes in a cart while there are a whole line of dryers Not being used by staff doing people’s laundry or either keep paying money to use the express dry which charges you money every 8 minutes, altho Clean Rite touts free dryers if you use their washers? Use some damn common sense and work efficiently Clean Rite. If you see the place is NOT crowded but yet there are people waiting for dryers and the«reserved» dryers are not in use, let your customers use a couple of those dryers! The faster you can get people in and out of a HOT laundromat in an effective & efficient way the happier your customers will be and will come back. Management needs to take a real management class and learn a thing or two. I’d rather go to a laundromat where I’d have to pay separately for washers & dryers and use quarters than to ever come back to this location.

So management actually reached out to me and is attempting to rectify the situation(the occupied dryers and how the staff responded). Now knowing that management makes customer satisfaction there # 1 priority I have no choice but to update my review solely based on that one factor alone. With that being said… I’ll give Clean Rite another shot!
