A Special Day

Worked with this company for my sisters wedding. The food was not very tasty and it was lacking. When we went for the sampling the portion where great but when they showed up for the event they where late and did not bring all the tables to set up then the serving and positions where very very small. I was so embarrassed with my guest.

I would definately not recommend this place. On the day of my event the caterers showed up late and still had to prepare the salads and sides so dinner was an hour late. They brought platters that weren’t on our menu. Although we paid for 250 servings, only 160 were served before the food ran out. We paid for extra servers who didn’t show. After the caterer noticed that there wasn’t enough food for all of our guests she called the company and they said they’d reimburse us for the food that was missing so I went out and bought food to feed the rest of the guests. When we tried to get to get our money back she refused to do so.

Do not recommend this place. I had Graciela help me out with my wedding and I was not happy with her work. She would quote me one price and then change the prices on me when it came down to it. She made the food for 350 guests, unfortunately I only had about 280 guest show up, now, ask me what happened to all of the leftover plates? They took them! That was over $ 500 worth of food that was already paid for and was taken by her staff. I had multiple complaints about her being rude to my guests. It was very disappointing. I had to call myself and ask them what happened to my extra food when I got back from my honeymoon and they ended up crediting me 50 plates of food for a future event (this was done by phone so we will see when the day comestible no proof of this was given to me on paper) I only give 2 stars since the food was not horrible but not great either. I expected much more from this place, unfortunately if I could do it all over again I would definitely go with someone else.

NEVER USE THIS PLACE! I went in the store and placed my order… I went in few times and made cash payments… the day of my wedding they didn’t bring me the plates I had ordered and told that the ones I wanted would be extra… then I ordered 10 white table umbrellas… they brought me 9 white and one tan!!! They told me that the one they had got broken and they couldn’t find another white! The napkins were shabby with tattered edges!!! When I called the morning of my wedding to complain… they were sooo rude and when I demanded a refund. she said she’d give me a refund and come pick everything up! She argued with me on the phone on my wedding day!!! It was horrible service!!! Never use them… use A festive Affair in gilroy!!! These people have NO business… trying to run a business! If I could have… I would give this place ZERO STARS!!!
