Cleaning Services

It is with much hesitation and disappointment that I update my review of Cleaning Services. I had been using them for about 6 months when I wrote my initial 5 start review in April. 2 months later and I am downgrading the star rating because I’ve canceled the service.
I was set up for the team to come in any time during my designated cleaning day. You can call the morning of your cleaning to find out an approximate time frame they will be at your house which is something I always do so I can plan my day around it. One day I was told they would be at my place mid-​afternoon. They ended up showing up 2 hours earlier when I was taking a shower and one of the cleaners came in to the bathroom while I was doing so! It was a very traumatic experience to say the least.
Unfortunately after this incident, poor experiences continued. The next cleaning was so ineffective my husband and I came home from work wondering if the crew had even come in. Usually the day of a cleaning we luxuriate in the smells of a fresh, clean house after a long day at work but this time there were no sweet smelling scents in the air. I looked through the house for signs they were there but only found a number of tables and bookcases were not dusted or cleaned. This is actually the 2^nd time this has happened and I forgave the first time since I’ve never been dissatisfied before.
I called the office right away to discuss the less than stellar cleaning job. I remember specifically telling the supervisor how we in general had a hard time deciphering whether anyone came in because so much of the place was still dusty — the library, the room off the library, the dining room, the breakfast nook, the tv stand in the living room (crazy, right?). So a week later they were scheduled to come and spot dust what I understood to be the entire house. When I got home from work I thought no one came because there was still dust everywhere.
I decided to just go ahead and cancel the service at this point thinking they didn’t come and what was the point of paying for a service that doesn’t keep their word. The worst part is, I received a reply back saying they did in fact come and she listed what they cleaned based on what I reported was not dusted. She asked me to reconsider cancelling. I asked for some kind of compensation for this poor job. She responded saying they only cleaned what I specifically told her was dirty and because they value me as a customer they’d offer me $ 25 towards my next cleaning.
Conclusion: I canceled anyway. $ 25 hardly makes up for the poor cleaning job, the invasion of privacy when I was taking a shower, and the amount of time I had to correspond with the office in an attempt to get the job done right. I don’t appreciate being told it’s my fault that I didn’t identify every piece of furniture that was not cleaned to ensure a proper re-​cleaning of the place, especially when I was very specific about the fact that both my husband and I couldn’t tell that people had done a cleaning job at all in my house. The supervisor tried to take responsibility for not instructing the team to go through the whole house, which is nice of her and I understand it was an attempt to convince me not to cancel the service. But two poor cleaning jobs and their walking in to a bathroom where you cannot miss the sound of a shower running causes me to not trust their cleaning crew in my personal space. I felt I had no choice but to move on.

Cleaning services did a great job on cleaning up our tile floors throughout the rental home we have. The grout looks great! Plus they cleaned our entire house and were very efficient and detailed. I would recommend them highly!

I called them for a quick last minute request. And the were able to accommodate me right away. The crew that came were courteous and happy to follow my directions .They came and did a great job in a short amount of time… Thank you.

The team comes in every other week and cleans my house from top to bottom — they are efficient, thorough, and easy to reach if I need to reschedule or add on something to clean. I love coming home after work, it is a huge help and relief to have them. I would highly recommend this company!
