I have taken a couple of pairs of shoes to be repaired, as well as a shoulder bag. They did an excellent job repairing my items. However, the others are correct that the business is usually not open during the posted hours on the door. When you call, most of the time there is no answer or a way to leave a message. They should come up with a better way to communicate with their customers because they offer a much needed business in Hollister.

Seriously ridiculous! I dropped off shoes over 2 weeks ago and every single time I try to get them they are never open when they are supposed to be and they don’t answer the phones nor have an answering machine… I still don’t have my shoes!!!

I brought them a pair of blingy silver sandals to be glued. When I picked them up I discovered they were ruined. They got glue all over the shoes and it peeled off the finish. The female clerk offered no apology or explanation… basically just shrugged her shoulders. She tried to say they were«cheap» shoes… they were not. Then she tried to say they were«old»…they were worn three times. I understand mistakes happen… but when they do… own up to them and apologize. I would NOT trust your shoes to them.

This store happened to be open when I took in two pair of shoes, one to get a tip put on heels and a tip on the toe. The other slipon shoe had the soles reglued. The work was to be ready the following Friday as I took the shoes in the first part of week. I went back on Friday and the shop was closed before noon. I called and got no answer and no message machine. Repeated calls came up empty. I drove down again on Monday with the same results. The THIRD time I drove there in the morning and talked with the business next door. They said the shoe repair store kept irregular hours and sometime did not open at all. I left my name and phone number to call me if they saw anyone over there so I could pick up my. shoes. Later that day the shoe repair store personnel called to say they were there; apparently, they had been given my number by the next door business as I had not left my number with the shoe repair store. I drove back again and finally got my shoes. They made no apology for the trouble I had getting my shoes, however, the work was done well and the charge was around $ 26.00. Not my idea of how to run business, as posting business hours and having a way to leave a message if they are not open are basic to customer service.
