FYI. There are 2 Faultline Powersports locations — one in Hollister Hills Parks and one in Downtown Hollister. This review is for the downtown location. Great customer service! Steve was so wonderful and patient with helping me find a pair of dirt bike boots. I have big calves and it has been frustrating trying to find boots that fit me. He took the time to help me try a couple pairs on and to even change out the straps to be longer so they would work for me! And he helped me stay within my budget. He’s awesome and I’m totally glad I made the trip out to Hollister to go to this place.

Convenience comes at a price. While its great having a store inside the park in case something breaks, you will pay well above retail for the privilege. I had a fork bleeder snap off on me a while ago. The motion pro part that is sold everywhere else for 12.99 was 30 bucks… that’s robbery in my book. Because of the prices I avoid this shop if at all possible.

Thank you John, Chris, and Greg. You guys saved my first weekend on my new bike! My husband bought me a CRF150RB2 days ago. We were already planning on going to Hollister Hills this weekend(because it’s awesome). I had just originally planned on bringing my TTR125. My new bike was purchased used and on top of the fact that he thought it was a small wheel when he bought it it also didn’t have a spark arrester. I’m still adjusting to the fact that it’s a big wheel(I’m 5’0″ tall). I’ve dumped it just trying to kick start it LOL! He called Faultline in downtown Hollister to check if they had the spark arrester that would fit my bike. They said they did and that we could pick it up the following day which obviously at the time neither of them realized the following day was Easter Sunday and that they would be closed… Our friends had followed us out there all the way from San Rafael so when we pulled up to see the shop all shut down our weekend began to not look up. My husband called Faultline at the actual OHV park and they said they had the proper spark arrester. I was soooo relieved. We pick it up, find a staging area, unload the bikes, attempt to install the spark arrester. Just my luck, it doesn’t fit. We go back to the shop to try to swap it out for something that would work. At this point Greg and Chris were helping me and it was beginning to look like I was SOL. Greg suggested I buy a new muffler for the bike but I was not about to spend $ 350 on something I didn’t need just so I can ride for a day and a half. They had us go get my bike and bring it back so they could check it out in person. Once they looked at it we realized that on top of the original fiasco the screw hole that would secure the spark arrester was totally stripped. FML!!! Greg and Chris were brainstorming on what could be done. That’s when John the owner walked up and inquired about what the issue was. They explained the whole ordeal. He took a look and figured out that not only was the screw hole stripped but the surrounding area was warped upwards in turn making impossible to fit any spark arrester properly. He suggested using a different size spark arrester and drilling a new hole up through the bottom. about 20 minutes later to my utter amazement… They got it rigged up!!! I wanted to cry tears of joy! My weekend was saved and I got to ride my awesome new bike after all. You guys are my Heroes :)
