The Vault – Hollister

Recently celebrated my daughter and her friend’s Sweet 16 birthday at the Vault. We had a great experience from the booking of the place which they worked around our schedule to the event night. The place was great and clean, we had over 100 teenagers show up. The Vault staff that we had that night was very attentive to our needs and very pleasant to work with, as well as the interaction and business with Ignacio V. will do business with him again for sure.

I love this place, we had banquet at The Vault. Great staff, good food — great acoustics if you have a live band. Amazzzzing! We had an event planner who took care of us from pre-​planning, event day, and all the way through. I believe the owners are different — there were no issues at all.
We are definitely coming back for our holiday party this year!

We spent $ 7000 on our 25^th wedding anniversary & Eric Swan/​Swan Productions who operate out of The Vault & Pendergrass Restuarant failed miserably! The «event planner» is unprofessional & made some huge mistakes. They were still setting up when my guests arrived, the food was not what we ordered & ran out several times. The bartender went missing, broken glass on a door was covered with a sheet, they had no staff to pick up plates, serve cake or champagne, & event planner was unfriendly to our guests. The final straw… they «forgot» to put out our favors which cost us $ 500 & now we have to send them to all our guests. They have offered no restitution, no apology & will not return our requests for a reimbursement. These people have no integrity.

1. Free parking lot right behind the building.
2. In downtown Hollister next to Best Western (which I couldn’t find on Unilocal – it said the nearest one was in Gilroy! but this one was literally 3 minutes away), Hollister Inn, and a Cinderella Inn
3. Perfect for an intimate business party or wedding. The drapery was very elegant and they had a bar. Bathrooms were pretty clean as well.
4. They do catering. The cake that my friend ordered for her wedding was a red velet and a strawberry cake. There was real strawberries in it!
5. Staff was very attentive and had food and drinks served promptly.
6. The only things I would say were negatives throughout the entire evening was 1. the pillars were blocking my view of many things and 2. The audio wasn’t working for the tvs for a LONG time and they just kept the video playing while they were trying to fix it. Personally, I believe they should have tested the audio for the tv beforehand instead of directing everyone in the room to view the tv and have us wait only to find that it wasn’t working…
