Hollister has a great sporting venues and picnic areas! We were in town for a tournament at the Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex. It has well cared for fields and plenty of amenities should nature call. Next door to the soccer complex is a large baseball facility and adjacent party venues. I’m sure that quiet a few victorious sporting events have spilled over into more than a few of them. In the event of more than one game going on at a time, there is ample lot and street parking. There is also a playground for the younger siblings of athletes to amuse themselves. While dogs are allowed in the playground and baseball park, they are not allowed in the soccer field area.
