Charter Communications

This is the absolute worst cable service I have ever had. The internet connection is constantly dropping. The cable cuts out continuously. For some reason the sound cuts on and off when I am watching shows. I have called for service and was given a date a week away which they failed to show up to. I would get satellite tv, if I were you, rather than put up with the horrible service this cable company provides.

Worst cable service ever, not sure how cable service is out on a consist basis but it is and the support line is always busy, not even a hold line or prompt service o give me the run around. Ridiculous

If I could give a negative star, I would! Charter is the WORST company EVER! I’m no spring chicken, have had cable since the late 70’s, have had either cable or satellite since then, and the internet for probably 10 years or so. Charter’s internet rivals dial up in speed! Today I call, after posting on their Facebook page, that I need to cancel service and have equipment picked up. They respond saying they only need 24 hours notice. I guess their math skills are bad, too, because they told me Monday!
The smart aleck girl (they don’t care even when you’re a customer, so they sure don’t once you cancel), said that REGARDLESS of what I’m told on Facebook, they cannot possibly send someone out to pick up equipment on Saturday.
Now they have to mail boxes to my new address, so I’m sure I’ll get calls claiming I didn’t return it! On top of that, after having the techs out so many times, I’ve lost count, and 2, not 1, but TWO line trucks and NEVER getting a bill credit, I’m told my final bill is $ 1 and some change!
Really? Really? After stealing from me for months Charter, you now cannot send someone to get YOUR equipment and on top of that want a $ 1! A dollar! Wow!
I’m tickled for anyone who has had good service with them, but I haven’t. Should have known better, since I also had them in Harnett county and it was horrible there, too!
