Kidd’s Place – Sporting Clay Range

We didn’t go to Kidd’s place to shoot– which makes us the odd ducks out here– though we fully intend to return and do just that.
We had our wedding reception at Kidd’s Place. It was PERFECT. Tom and Diane and everyone there were so incredibly helpful and understanding. The pavilion that Tom has there for receptions and events is absolutely beautiful, and the grounds are wonderful as well.
We got Tom to cater our reception since what we wanted was good NC bbq. And that’s what we had. It was FANTASTIC. In fact, it was soooo good that my vegan parents had seconds. That’s right. My parents who don’t eat meat knowingly had more than one serving of chopped pork bbq.
Diane was so incredibly helpful with organizing everything, and so easy to get in contact with and talk to. She would mention things that I hadn’t thought of and help out!
If you are looking for a venue to hold a reception, a family reunion, any large gathering at all– you should really come check out Kidd’s Place. Our reception was absolutely perfect, and Kidd’s Place is a lot of the reason why.

Went last weekend! Everyone is great. We went to kick off my bachelor party. The stations are amazing, the whole place is well setup. This is the first time I’ve shot sport clays and I’m hooked. Bring your appetite for barbecue and have a great time! They will take care of everything and you are left just having a blast!
