WORSTFOODWORSTSTAFFEVER!!! initial order totally wrong went back. food purposefully inedible. manager(a man didn’t say name) was so rude. bordered on mean! .basically said wasn’t his fault or problem and that he couldn’t guarantee that the food would be good for anyone at anytime .said basically to not come back. I called their corporate offices. total crap. he needs fired and I will for one never be going back.

Before I moved here to NC I thought I liked sonic. Well, after going here I have not been here but 2 – 3 times in 6 years. Look at the sanitation rating. Service sucks.

This place is horrible! The service takes FOREVER… The speaker is always broken, the employees are rude and make it seem like your bothering them when you pull them away from their phones. If it weren’t for the ½ price drinks I wouldn’t ever care to return

Saddened by Sonic! I don’t have a Sonic close to home, so was excited to get to come here today, with my kids, a friend and her kids. This is about 20 miles from home. Later, when I went to buy gas and couldn’t find my credit card, I realized that the Sonic employee didn’t give our two credit cards back to me earlier. I called and that was confirmed, with no apology offered. I drove all the way back over here to pick up our cards, with a crying child, whose afternoon plans were interrupted. No apology, no attempt to make up for my trouble with a free meal or gift card, and when I suggested that, I was told that he could give me a drink. I told him I would prefer something I could redeem later and he offered to WRITEMYNAMEDOWNTOGIVEME A FREEDRINKATANOTHERTIME. Seriously??? This is no way to do business! I’m very disappointed in Sonic and will likely wind up canceling my credit card because it’s been out of my hands for several hours. Dining at Sonic today has cost me a lot of extra money and trouble! The star I am giving is for the for quality, only.:(

Half price shakes after 8 are the best and the only reason I go back, but I wouldn’t suggest getting any food from them. They don’t seem to be the most organized and it does take unusually long for bigger orders. They also don’t use roller blades, but I don’t think Amy sonic locations do that anymore. Not that it affects my review.

Just as a follow up, emailed corporate and immediately received a response saying that someone from the store would follow up with me. Within 24 hours they emailed me asking me to email them back, I did. Crickets to follow and it’s been 2 weeks. Absolutely terrible management at this store.

Update to Review: After positing my comment on Unilocal and sending corporate a complaint I was contacted by Flash(the General Manager) to come by and pick up a replacement meal at no cost. Flash was very personable and corrected the issue in regards to what prompted my original review. During the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy Baby P was obsessed with chicken club sandwiches. I ended up coming to Sonic at least 3 more times in order to try to satisfy the craving. I did learn the hard way to check my order down to which mayo was used. Normally I hate mayo, but Baby P was really into the peppercorn mayo. If you eat here my overall recommendations are to check every single part of your order. Don’t go into the experience expecting super awesome service. Original Review: Just don’t do it. Go to Chick-fil-A or Wendy’s instead. I read the Unilocal reviews and thought… could they really be that bad? I mean… it is Sonic and I’ve spent 20 years eating at Sonic(not super often, but I would eat there over McDonald’s any day). It was convenient for me coming home from an appointment in Fuquay — Varina. I have to pass through Holly Springs and figured I would treat myself to a little Sonicy goodness. I thought wrong. I will say that it is partially my fault that my order was incorrect. I’m super pregnant and was kind of wanting to get home for a variety of reasons.(Which if you’ve ever been 9 months pregnant you can understand why.) Anywho, I also just figured that they couldn’t possibly screw up my order to an inedible degree. I ordered the hot dog combo: a Chicago dog, medium soda, and medium chili cheese tot. I also ordered a crispy chicken sandwich that was featured on the menu. I’m not sure of the title of it, but it was supposed to have a peppercorn mayo and just looked REALLY good. The car hop was friendly and I took my food and headed home. I should have checked the food. I got home, up to my third floor apartment, settled in to eat my dinner, and was sorely surprised at probably my worst ever Sonic experience. The good: My soda didn’t taste funny and the tots were cheesy and hot. The bad: My hot dog was COLD.(I live 2.3 miles, 5 minutes, from this store… just for reference.) I’m not talking about room temperature, but cold. The bun, the dog, eh. Like it had been sitting there, dead, and got pawned off on me. After I decided to pass on trying to revive it(microwaved relish just isn’t appealing to me) I opened the brown bag to hopefully enjoy my crispy chicken sandwich. Which was not what was in the bag. There was a chicken toaster sandwich and it would have sufficed if it wasn’t inedible. So, A) wrong sandwich and B) the wrong sandwich was so crappily put together and overcooked that it was inedible. The sandwich was also cold, the bread was smashed and barely toasted, and the chicken was so overcooked that it was dried out and hard. I paid $ 13 for a medium soda and some chili cheese tater tots. I did the survey on the receipt citing my issues and then also emailed corporate(which passed on the comment to the store). In the past if I have ever had an issue with a Sonic the location was more than happy to contact me and rectify the issue. It’s been over a week now and there’s been nothing. I even specifically stated in my email to them that I would wait to write a Unilocal review. Next time I have a hankering for a chicken sandwich or a hot dog I will find them elsewhere. Sadly this is probably my last encounter with Sonic while I live in this area.

Ordered 5 hotdogs everyone was made wrong. Service on the intercom was abrupt and impolite. Absolutely worse Sonic I’ve ever been too. Also live 10 minutes away. Blogs were not cooked and everything was like warm like they had been sitting out and the condiments added. Terrible.

More like 4.75 due to the fact some intercoms doesn’t work well and it’s hard to hear the other person on the other side. Service is nice and normally fast. The croissant dog is not my favorite. It’s more like a fancy bun than croissant. The corn dogs is yummy. The batter is sweet, salty and not gummy. Shakes, blast are good but they do not chocolate ice cream just vanilla.

Pretty much as expected, but like others have mentioned, special orders get messed up really quickly. We just ordered some treats when we were here and one was a sundae which we requested no whipped topping. They asked if we still wanted a cherry and some other topping, and we agreed. What we received was just ice cream and hot fudge. Not a huge deal, but still… Other than that, items were as expected. Nothing spectacular, but nothing a huge disappointment. Yes, the drive thru does seem to have a «slower than it should be» feel to it… and watch out for drivers in line decided to go in reverse for no apparent reason(maybe they were going back to correct their order?). I haven’t tried any of their hot food items at this location. Those may be easier to mess up than ice cream though…

I really wish this place were better, considering I live right across the road! But to be honest, I’ve never had anything great, but have had many things not so great. The worst was a family size order of fries that were inedible because of the amount of salt on them. Most times the food is just bland. The shakes are cheap when they are half price, that said I’d never pay full price for them as they aren’t that good. Service is slow for what is supposed to be a fast food restaurant. It seems as if the place is staffed by high schoolers, which is fine, but they never seem to really care about anything. The prices for meals are high for what you get, especially considering they don’t even have a dining room. Personally I’d recommend some place like Burger King over Sonic.

They open at 7:00 am, allegedly. Several times I have gone by to get breakfast before work only to find them not open yet. When they are open and I arrive between 7:10 — 7:15, they tell me they just got there and can only serve drinks. I’m not sure what has changed in the last 6 months or so because it used to be our go to place for drinks and breakfast before work. I’m extremely disappointed not only in the inconsistency but also their attitude about being inconsistent. The guys working the window in the morning honestly don’t care about the level of customer service they are providing and make no apologizies for just getting there 10 minutes late. Whoever is managing this place, please bring back the old Sonic attitude!

If sonic is what you’re craving then it’s great. I took off 1 star because they frequently mess up special orders. Always check your food if you ask for anything added or left off. Despite mix ups the employees are always super nice. French toast sticks are my fave. Seem to be made to order and not just sitting under a heat lamp like other places.

Not much of a review to be posted here; this is merely for sentimental purposes: this particular Sonic was the 1st place my family and I frequented circa 2000 while house searching. It’s comforting to know that it’s still around providing the same quality of quick«comfort food» as it always has. My kids still remember the fizzy«–ades» that are available :)

This a typical Sonic — and that’s not a bad thing. The food is spot-on with other Sonic locations. It tastes fresh and is well made. The drink combinations are incredible and the selection of fast foods is beyond the average chain. I have to share that it can be frustrating to sit in a drive-in spot waiting on your food while watching the folks in the new drive-in lane pass through. :( Nonetheless, if you’re in the area then make this your favorite drink spot… and burger spot… and desert spot… and breakfast sandwish spot… and… :)
