American Quality Roof Repair

Cant really rate the work of this company. but I would say BUYER BEWARE. We are in need of a new roof on the back building (garage & guest apt) of our house. I called a few companies and this one based on some reviews I had read elsewhere. I got a nice older gentlemen on the phone, who said he was the owner and that a salesperson would be calling us. Stephen Roberts called and said he would be out in the morning. I believe it was a tues he came, said I would have the quote that night. well no quote. No quote Weds .so I called him on Thurs finally on Fri I received a quote. We compared and decided this bid was good. in the middle so we called and Steve was going to come on Sat «after Comcast comes to his house». we waited no call on Sat. nothing on Sunday or Monday. I figured.okay maybe he got busy. so I emailed him on Tues night. saying «if you want our business I suggest you call».well the phone rang within 10 mins. it was Steve. and now the excuses. blah blah.we need to do this. we need to do that… I will be over in the AM to discuss… we said dont bother. well today I got a new «quote» for the same exact job .that he had been here to see. only it’s now $ 2250 higher. yep over TWO THOUSAND dollars more… so we are now deciding who to go with. We’re willing to pay whatever to get the job done right. but this is just unacceptable. Perhaps we dodged a bullet. but if I were you I would re-​think using AQR.
