Big Lots

I’ve got to tell you, as far as Big Lot’s go… this one in particular is a dump. VERY disorganized & dirty with stuff piled high in the isles everywhere. As compared to their other stores, it’s a royal mess. After years of shopping another location, when my wife told me she hated Big Lots, I couldn’t imagine why, until I visited this one myself. That was a number of years back and I figured it would cure itself as either the manager would get fired when corporate came to visit or the fire marshal would make them clean up their act. Seriously, every time I’ve been there the isles were cluttered enough to make it a hazard in an emergency. I’m cool with that when I’m traveling to a third world country, but in the middle of Oakwood Plaza?

Compared to other Big Lots, this one is just ok. Very disorganized and not a lot of selection furniture wise. Still, it’s a good place to buy odd groceries and snacks.

My favorite place to get my cereal. Sort of like thrifting. No idea what you may find. Great way to try some new items outside of your usual grocery list.

As far as a biglots goes this is as good as it gets. Fort those who have never been its cheaper than walmart mroe expensive then a dollar store and has everything youd like to find at both. There might be some products youve never heard of or brands but all the products are great. This store in particular has the best staff its had ever. We work hard to keep the place clean, To give you great service and answer all questions. We put out alot of product, do our best to ensure things are priced. And we try our hardest with a smile. WOW! Big Lot’s recently made some major changes to this once messy location. They have a totally new layout and new shelves to go along with it.
If you’ve never been, here’s what Big Lot’s is good for:
–patio furniture
–plastic bins for organizing
–holiday décor
–paper goods
Basically a clearence Wal-Mart…gotta love that.
