Ok. First off, I’m gonna have to defend Davar against Sean’s review. Yes, Davar is young and not as «professional» as the other professional photographers out there. But I have to say that he’s a lot better than this one photographer that my husband and I hired for an engagement session (thank goodness that photographer was not our wedding photographer). Anyway, that photographer made the whole session uncomfortable by telling us EXACTLY how to pose and that wasted a lot of time. With Davar, like the other reviews say, he’s easy going and he made the session fun. My husband felt that we had longer than 1 hr, but actually Davar did take a lot of great pixs in 1 hr. B/​c he didn’t waste time snapping away. So if you’re looking for someone more «professional» don’t be going on Groupon or LivingSocial. Just pay the $ 250‑1500 per session. I believe Davar is worth more than what he’s charging on LivingSocial!

Davar has a ton of patience, a ridiculous amount of skill, and an absolute love for his craft. He is totally accommodating and quick to communicate. Documented a huge part of our life with expertise, thank you.

Davar was so respectful and artistic. I truly felt like the golden goddess of motherhood. Our shoot was very professional and the photos are absolutely amazing. Davar has a great eye for framing, special moments, and was also a great coach to help me pose.

I wish I could give a review of the service here, but the problem is Davar did not provide a service at all.
My wife and I scheduled some maternity photos with Davar, who was very responsive during the days prior to our appointment. However, he failed BIG TIME when the moment came to deliver.
I purchased a Living Social voucher for his services and booked a 3pm weekday appointment. He then called me with less than 90 minutes notice to inform me that his camera was broken. I missed his initial call, as I was getting a haircut at the time and my wife was having her makeup professionally done.
When I called him back, he mentioned that his camera began acting up several hours prior to his call, and that he had hoped it would be a quick repair. He should have notified us the second the camera started acting up, as it would have given us time to change or cancel appointments we made. Even better, a professional photographer should have a backup camera, or at least a plan to rent a suitable stand-​in piece of equipment in events like these.
Of course, we could not find a photographer on such short notice and the money my wife spent on makeup went to waste.
Davar offered only a refund through Living Social. Amateurish is the nicest way I could possibly describe the manner in which this was handled. Hire at your own risk.

I normally do not write reviews unless it’s exceptionally well-​deserved. If I had 3 thumbs I would give Davar 3 thumps up for the wonderful experience my SO and I had at our 1 hr photo shoot with him. Not only does he work magic with his camera but he is a very welcoming, down-​to-​earth individual.
We found him on living social and all Unilocal reviews are accurately described about him. He makes you feel comfortable around him and that’s the most important part of anything when you’re working with someone for the first time. His prices are very reasonable and he’s willing to make the trip to get to be wherever you want him to be.

My husband and I had a great experience while shooting with Davar in our maternity shoot. Being the «diva» that I can be, Davar was very patient and understanding. He found a great location and time for the shoot. The shoot went over our schedule time but he didn’t make it a problem. His passion for photography showed during the shoot and all my pictures came out great. I look forward to shoot again in the near future.

I’ve used Davar for several of my shoots (maternity and newborn) and they always come out amazing. What I love the most is that he tells you exactly what he visions and how to stand, look, and feeling to produce. This makes it easier to just comply and move then to try to be creative on your own. Of course, if you have an idea he captures it! I recommend him for maternity and newborns! He’s patient, creative and travels to your location if need be.

He’s an amazing photographer. I love his work. Would recommend him highly. He did my little girls new born photos and I am in love. Hes very professional and very patient since my baby wouldnt fall asleep lol. hes amazing :)
