I work in the financial industry. I had an appointment in downtown Hollywood and dropped in to get some gel before i left. The girl helping me was very nice and actually had curly hair like mine, we had a good conversation about hair products and different vitamins to grow curly hair. Not to mention protein and moisturizing treatments. Because I was in my suit, the store manager came over to me and asked why i «randomly» came into her store accusing me of trying to sell her something. The sales associate even tried to explain but I was so disgusted I told her id never come back. Im a financial professional licensed by the state, She labelled me because i was in a suit like some kind of salesman because i had a suit on early in her store. If I could give a rate of 0, i would.

Dusson’s customer service is just rotten. The Sales Associate was nowhere to be found, and when she was, gave little to no interest in helping. She was really, really dumb, too. How can you have someone work at a Health and Beauty retailer, and not have them know what are multivitamins? I was bewildered. They need to find people with real knowledge. I guess retailers just do the opposite of that, nowadays, or so I suppose.

Do not buy from them! I recently made a purchase and the item that arrived had gone bad. It was unwearable. However, they would not let me return it and when I complained about their lack of response to my customer service queries they threatened to sue me! I am not kidding! This should have been a simple and easy transaction and instead it has become quite a headache. Next stop, better business bureau…

Here’s my Dusson experience. I place an order online. They email me to clarify my address. I respond. They write back and ask again. I respond again. They write back again and ask me to explain my address formatting. I write back and ask them why they are interrogating my about my address and why, after three responses, they can’t simply ship the product. They respond my canceling my order with no further explanation. I ask why the order was cancelled and I get no explanation. Then I get a phone call from a representative who still can’t explain why they won’t ship my order and starts giving me some long story about their IT department and address validation, etc. And I told her that I verified my address three times. Instead of simply apologizing and sending the order, the representative felt the need to argue with me, try to explain whatever it is she needed to explain, and the longer it dragged on, the more bewildered I became. Terrible customer service, period. I’ll never have anything to do with this company again.

Rounding up to two stars. E-mail correspondence from was rather ridiculous after they saw my initial review here on Unilocal.I won’t bore you with the petty deets. For me, the value of my purchase is weighed against the quality of customer service + product purchased. Caveat emptor
