I have been a patient of Dr. Kaner for more than a year now and, while there may be some office visit delays, the experience has been overall great. The staff has always been friendly and it has also always been easy to schedule appointments and procedures.

Extremely expensive experience.
Dr. Migicovsky was fine, although he urgently suggested I have an endoscopy when I didn’t need one, especially given that was not the reason I went to see him in the first place.
Before scheduling the procedure, I checked with his billing agent so I could know in advance how much this may cost me out-​of-​pocket (after insurance). She ‘researched’ and called me to tell me «$ 200, at most, but it should be completely covered». I am a graduate student and very tight on money, but scheduled it because Dr. Migicovsky was so adamant that this procedure was necessary. Well, I had the procedure, nothing was found, and now I have just over $ 1,000 (!!!) in out-​of-​pocket bills that I am left paying! All this for a procedure I didn’t elect to have and never even needed!
Either way, I would hands-​down never go here again. This was an $ 800 mistake THEY made that I have to pay for; I didn’t follow up with my insurance and am certainly paying for it. I trusted them… after all, ‘they are the experts’… this is whole situation is completely unacceptable.
My suggestion to anyone reading this is to protect yourself and go to an office where they actually know what they are doing. Also, lesson learned… don’t trust anyone and work directly with your insurance.
Otherwise, staff were friendly and pleasant (besides the billing agent of course who was all sorts of impossible to reach and was completely void of compassion when I was questioning her about misquoting me and about reducing my payment). I feel so stuck and I literally cannot do anything other than write a review and scrape together non-​existent money for these bills I now owe. I am beyond broken by this situation and really disappointed because I truly thought I had been so careful about going about this the right way.
