You guys must have no real knowledge of the suggested retail, or even the normal price range for the exact products sold in this store. The mark up was insane.
I am constantly costuming burlesque and fetish performances, as well as photo/​video shoots, and this store was considerably more expensive than most on the cost off every single item they carried.
For instance; I usually buy feather boas for an average of $ 5-​$ 6, the most I have seen them sold for otherwise is normally $ 12… and this store was asking over $ 35!!! This is for the exact same boa… color, thickness, length and type of feather, of the exact same quality.
When I browsed their costumes I saw the exact same costumes by Leg Avenue, that are sold everywhere else selling for twice average retail price is everywhere else!
And this is even less tolerable considering the staff took no interest in helping customers, and the over cluttered racks, and uncomfortable dusty warehouse feel that came from the bad lighting and how the store’s walls were not even sheet-​rocked, as if the building had been had been stripped to it’s bones.
