Came to Hard Rock Live to see comedian Jim Jefferies perform on a Saturday night. I was surprised that it was being held at Hard Rock Live and not the Improv venue, but it was a packed house. Quality Although it may have been a bit of a weird space to have it, the Hard Rock definitely booked a tremendous act. It was an excellent performer who had the crowd simultaneously cringing and laughing. Quantity The venue was definitely very full, using up most of the space. My biggest issue was how close together all the seats were. It definitely felt like you were sitting on top of the person next to you. Value I was sitting in section 107 around 10 rows back. The tickets for this show were pretty reasonable, but looking at prices for upcoming events it definitely ranges by the popularity of the act whether it really is worth the price. Ambiance The Hard Rock Live was definitely set up as a music venue so it was a bit of a strange setup for a comedian, though the performers did do an excellent job. I feel like I would have preferred to be a bit further back, but there is something to say about being that close to a performer. I feel like for this show you could have been anywhere in the theater and had a good time as they have two large screens on both sides of the stage and pretty solid acoustics. Crowd I personally thought the crowd was pretty terrible. As with everything in South Florida, the crowd showed up extremely late, which is one thing for a concert which was never going to start on time and different for a comedy show which stays on schedule. Theres nothing worse than having to get up out of your seat for people showing up halfway into the show. I also got the overall impression that the crowd was not ready for what was coming. It felt like most people were not accustomed to Jim Jefferies style of comedy and were really just coming to an event to be at the event. The woman next to me spent the whole time complaining and with a scowl on her face after every joke. I feel like this may be a common occurrence as people may come to the Hard Rock expecting it to be near the water or at least Miami and disappointed to find out they are limited to the resort entertainment. Service The staff was excessively large using four different people to direct us to our seats. They also were much more thorough going through bags than I would expect. I noticed though at the close of the show they all seemed to disappear as the crowd was a disaster trying to get out of the arena. Parking Tons of parking all over the casino in decks and lots. The venue is right in the middle of the outdoor pavilion, so either parking deck works well. Extra I feel like it is hard to judge this venue on just a singular event, I definitely would come back for the right concert and then I probably would have a better idea of how it works for different and more natural events.

Hard Rock Live, you screwed up and you screwed up good. I will never go back. My friends will never go back. Hard Rock Live, you and I are done. I went there for the premier screening of Jaco. The film was amazing. But that has nothing to do with Hard Rock Live. The film was scheduled to start at 9 pm, and it was recommended to show up early for the pre-party at 8:30 pm. At 9 pm, we were herded like sheep waiting for the doors to open. It was not a safe environment had there been a fire or any otherwise emergency. At 9:15 pm the crowd got antsy. At 9:30 the crowd got angry. Finally we were let in at 9:45 pm. Please keep in mind, at this point, everyone was overheated and packed together like sausages. Again, a completely unsafe, unorganized situation. Kids were crying and sitting on the floor because there was nowhere to sit. Elderly people were looking faint. The overall excited mood for the film turned into an angry mob. Hard Rock Live staff did not try to accommodate anyone– no apologies, no free bottles of water, no explanations. And yes, kids can appreciate Jaco Pastorious too– believe it or not, there are some cool parents out there who expose their children to artists other than Taylor Swift. Let me say this. If the wait had been 45 min in a comfortable, safe setting– no problem. I’ve been to countless events and I get it. Things aren’t always on time. Stuff happens. I work in the concierge industry and I understand both sides of customer service and client expectations. So guess what Hard Rock? You owe us and you owe us big.

I love going to concerts at this venue but last time I sat in the nose bleed section and it was a little scary getting to my seat. I think some guard rails are needed up there between the rows of seats. Maybe that’s just me(I’m terrified of heights). Also the seats are very cramped but the acoustics are great and that’s really what matters most when your seeing you favorite artist.

Good concerts, prices are better than the AAA but floor shakes a bit which may be a hazard? Hopefully not! Rock & Roll

A special thanks to the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood Florida for sponsoring the Facebook Ticket Giveaway Contest to see«MOVE» with Derek and Julianne Hough on Friday night 6÷26÷15. My daughter and I won tickets to see this spectacular show. Not only a brother and sister team who are excellent dancers but they both blessed with beautiful voices as well!!! Would I go see them again next year? Most definitely!!! Thanks again Hard Rock for making this happen for us. ;)

I was lucky enough to see Bette Midler here. The venue is not huge and almost any seat is at least halfway decent. Of course, like anything else, you want to be in the front if you want to see the performer close up! I sat in section 202, row G and it was not bad. The seat was okay except the way it is in angled on those side sections, you sort of have to turn your body in a position that is sideways and not very comfortable, unless you are a contortionist. The venue is self is very bare-bones. There is not much of a lobby, and what is there is very spartan. The food and drinks are all junk(you can get a hot dog) and overpriced beer. The candy and sodas($ 5 for a coke) are reminiscent of a budget movie theater but they still charge what a nicer movie theater would charge. Does that make sense? :-) All in all, it is a good venue to watch your favorite performer as there is free parking and it’s not that huge of a place. I would rate this 3 ½ stars out of five and I would go again if there is someone I want to see…

I’ve seen several performances here from Andrea Bocelli to a Kathy Griffin comedy show. The location is fantastic. Several bars and restaurants just outside of the venue. Garage parking is a 4 minute walk away. It is a bit on the smaller side, which is nice. Even the worst seats are not too far from the stage.

I came here on Saturday for the Russell Peters show. It was my first time at this venue and I liked it! It’s a medium sized venue, and they had the entire back area curtained off, which made it seem a little more intimate. I purchased tickets late, so was left with only nosebleeders. I thought that would be OK because it was a comedy show and the key thing would be to hear the hilarious Mr. Peters. It was a good thing they had projection screens though… I ended up watching most of the show on the screen as I was up so high Russell was just a blur! The acoustics were very good. Some negative comments… the nosebleed seats are stacked very steeply and getting to the seats was a bit precarious. It definitely felt like you could fall right down into the center of the auditorium. The projection screens could have been larger. Also, leaving the venue took a really long time — too many people were funnelling into either one small escalator or one small stair well. All in all, it was a good experience, but I would definitely have to LOVE the performer to make a return trip.

I don’t like this venue set up at all! 300 level seating boarders on dangerous the way the seats are set up. The concert stage all the way at one end means you spend the whole show looking to one side. If you do valet you can select the ‘express valet’ and you request your car at the kiosk then walk outside. They guarantee it within 3 minutes, they nailed it!!! Best $ 20 we spent at this place! Over priced food and drinks as per most venues. Good beer selection and friendly staff are the reason for the second star!

I’ve been to this venue a few times now so seems like a good time to write a review. It’s on the smaller side for a concert venue, but not unpleasant. Most of the seats will provide a pretty decent side view of any show. My favorite was having floor seats a few rows back. Obviously the closer, the better. I like that it’s in the hard rock so you have food and drink options around. It’s free parking which is always a plus. And, I really like the artists that they bring to perform here, so i’m sure i’ll continue coming here. What I absolutely hate about this venue, is that they will NOT scan your tickets from your mobile phone. One of the times i attended, we missed 30 minutes of the show because we had to go to the Casino Concierge to print out our tickets. You gotta get with the times Hard Rock Live! Go green!

I’m a fan of this venue, and hope to see more shows here in the future. I’ve seen Rob Thomas and Sara Bareilles here. For Rob Thomas, I was in the upper level. For Sara Bareilles, I was on the floor toward the back. For shows, I’d recommend being in sections: 101, 107, and lower rows of 201, 202, 206, and 207. Parking is free and there are lots of bars and restaurants at Hard Rock for dinner/drinks before or after the show. And FYI, the bars inside the venue are cash only.

Yay! I am a fan. First of all, this venue is very close to my house, so if I see my favorite artists will be playing here, I am there. Second, I know sometimes the parking situation could be a pain. But, l if you are a Players Club member at the casino like I am, you can park valet and only pay $ 4.00 instead of $ 7.00. Its definitely convenient for people like me who prefer not to take a long walk to the parking lot in the dark. The venue is not large like AAA, BB&T Center or anything like that, but I feel sometimes in a smaller environment, you can get a more personal feeling and interaction with the artists performing. And since its a smaller venue, there isn’t a bad seat in the house. Also, the ushers were very courteous and accommodating. We walked in and showed them our tickets and they immediately lead us to our seats. Not a bad touch. A few weeks ago we came and saw Sara Bareilles. She was fabulous! The sound effect was very good. The lighting was awesome. And when the crowd started getting into with the music, you can really feel the energy in the house. And with all the bars and restaurants near by, you can always go and grab a late bite, or even a few drinks after the concert. You just can’t beat that! I’ll definitely be attending more concerts here.

Visited for the Matt Nathanson/Gavin Degraw concert. The concert was awesome and so was the venue! Part of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino complex in Hollywood, Florida the Hard Rock Live venue was very easy to get to! The complex features a free parking garage which was very convenient, and of course, free is never a bad thing! It definitely made for an easy in, easy out parking experience. The Hard Rock Live is part of a nice, outdoor area featuring dining, shopping and entertainment offerings. Many convenient places to grab a bite to eat before a concert! The concert venue itself was easy to enter and get through security quickly. There was plenty of staff available to assist us in finding our seats. While still a large facility, it is a bit smaller than some other arenas I’ve visited in Florida so it was nice to enjoy a concert in a more intimate venue! Fantastic experience!

It’s a smaller venue, and that’s why I’m a fan. This was my first time attending a HardRock Live concert. I saw the Fray, and I honestly loved that it wasn’t crowded. The lines were pretty short at the concession stand. You get a pretty good view of the stage from every seat. There aren’t really any nosebleeds. The staff is attentive and help you find your seat quickly. I will come back because it more cozy than other concert venues. Its super convenient, there are plenty of other places to hangout at after the concert was over. I SPECIALLY loved the fact that, I was eating at the food court and Joe one of the band members walked by, stopped to talk to my friend and I. I even got a picture! It was a very cool experience!

I came down here recently to see a comedy performance by Dana Carvey & Dennis Miller(which was a great show by the way). Parking is FREE, which is awesome and there are plenty of spaces in the garage, though you might need to do some walking if you arrive at a peak time or before a major show. You’ll have the chance to stroll through the outdoor shopping/dining promenade that’s part of the Hard Rock resort on your way into the venue, which is sometimes crowded but always fun. «Check-in» was a breeze; just show one of the attendants your ticket and pass through the turnstile. You will also be subject to a bag/purse inspection if you’re carrying anything like that inside, but better to be safe than sorry, and it only took a moment. Once we made it to the auditorium, an usher showed us to our seats. This was the first time we sat on the floor level and not in the grandstands, and I have to admit, the seats were really narrow with almost no legroom(consider yourself warned if you’re very big or tall). You are literally sitting shoulder to shoulder with your seatmates. The view was good being that it was straight on, but I think it would have been roomier and more comfortable in the grandstand seats along the sides. The show was excellent. Lots of laughs, good vibes, great sound. There are two giant TV screens on the walls so you can see the action up-close. The only disappointment was that the show was far shorter than we expected, considering the ticket price, but that isn’t necessarily the fault of Hard Rock Live. Afterward, we browsed around the promenade again and checked out the casino, which was really enjoyable. Overall I had a great experience here, with one or two minor drawbacks that I’ll know to think twice about next time. Looking forward to seeing what talent will come here next!

Hard Rock Live is an awesome venue and a great alternative to larger venues because even if you do have the worst nosebleed seats available, you will still have a great view of the stage. Plus there is always free parking and plenty of places to eat and drink(or gamble) before and after the show. Recently, I saw Rob Thomas and then a few weeks later Weezer at the Hard Rock Live and even though I didn’t have lower level seats, I still got to enjoy an amazing show and I never felt like I was too far away. The security can be a little annoying if you are sitting closer to the aisle but they seem to leave you alone the further in you sit. Don’t expect to meet your favorite band here either. Security is tight and they don’t let you wait outside or hang around the tour buses.

This venue is pretty good for several reasons. 1) location — easy to get to from pretty much anywhere. 2) Venue — There really isn’t a bad seat in the house. 3) Convenience — easy to park, plenty of food/drink options 4) Crowd — always good vibes when coming to shows here 5) Talent — very good shows that come through here Honestly, never had a bad experience here. Its great to have this venue like this so close to home. Its smaller than AAA/BAC, but they still get some good talent coming through…

I have gone to see several shows here. Some of them include Def Leppard and Alice Cooper. I had a great experience each time that I went. I think the stage is a good size. The sound was great the times I went too. It’s nice to get there a little early and get something to eat at the Hard Rock. They have a lot of restaurants. Hard Rock Live was easy to find. The only thing I think that can get complicated is if you don’t frequent the Hard Rock sometimes you may not park in the right area and have to walk for a bit to get back to the garage.

Friday evening’s Brian Wilson/Jeff Beck Concert was ruined by a beer-guzzlin’ low-life without regard for people around him. I post his photograph so those who find themselves sitting near him in the future can request to be reseated elsewhere or leave the venue after demanding their refund. One cannot help but speak of this incident whenever getting together or talking on the phone with friends: a large fellow, drunk on beer, stood up and whistled disturbingly loudly nonstop for the entire final quarter of the concert. It’s impossible to emphasize how loud this man was. Audience members around nearby asked him to stop, they glared at him, and further implored he cease and render relief(he whistled for no apparent reason at a level that must have been beyond the THRESHOLDOFPAIN). There were no guards or «keep the peace» personnel to control him or quiet the lug down. He robbed many paying audience members of substantial value that would have otherwise translated into sheer enjoyment. What a lousy way to endure an otherwise joyful concert. I’ve not experienced that brand of behavior at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood before. It was surprising there weren’t appropriate personnel in-place – a venue where alcohol is served. But if it should ever happen again The Hard Rock will have lost a loyal paying customer as well as many of his friends.
