Other than the Kodak Theater, the Chinese Theater and the star studded walkway, this place is so NON-HAPENING! Sad, sad, sad!!!

Wow. No reviews for Hollywood Blvd. yet? Allow me… I’ve lived here for a little while now, so I think I can fairly critique this… er, «alive» sector of the dirty sub-city known as Hollywood. Note: Hollywood. Not West Hollywood. Two diff things. I realize this is a huge portion of our economy, the whole tourist thing, but… ugh. This place is like instant headache. Driving is a slice of hell because nobody knows where they are going. Check the plates — Avis Rent-A-Car, Hertz Rent-A-Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Arizona, Utah, Florida, freaking Oklahoma. No! You are clogging the effing streets. If you don’t know exactly where you are going, then WALK. At least you won’t be adding to the city’s ever-flowing supply of smog. Speaking of walking, which is also a nightmare: I hate walking on this street. No matter who you are, if you are caught walking on this street, you are a tourist. No matter where you are headed, nope, tourist. And I have nothing against tourists on the whole. But to be lumped in with the fanny-packers and mid-Westerners whose idea of touring is taking a stroll down the fudging Walk of Fame or whatever? Yeah. Not happening. All the businesses in this area are owned and operated by greasy old guys, and god-forbid I want to cross the street without someone whistling at me. I will never understand why anyone would do any shopping here, as all the stores are chains and can be found Anywhere, USA. Three stars because as I said, it does help our economy, and hell knows we could use it. There is some good food to be found in the area, but nothing to get pick-pocketed over. Nooo thank you.
