1. The SMALLEST chicken wings ever — they look like the type that got ripped off of the walmart rotisserie chicken. 2. So little tomato sauce on the pizza you can barely taste it. 3. Very little topping — I counted on that large pizza we got, 8 pepperonis in total. What were they even thinking? 4. Delivery guy looks as if I owe him a million bucks. Someone’s having a bad day. Overall, this experience makes me sad. There goes my $ 25 + $ 3(tip) order of a large pizza + 8 chicken wings. Don’t order here unless you’re that desperately hungry.

I had tried this Hungry Howie’s before several years ago. At that time, the pizza was dry, bland and greasy. I filed several complaints, but got no answer. Finally, I gave up. But recently, I tried them again, and was pretty amazed. The pizza was so fresh and delicious, I couldn’t believe it! The crust is doughy and fresh-tasting, the sauce is good and the toppings are yummy. The delivery service is a bit slow, but the drivers are always very polite and helpful. they act like they really care about delivering premier service. They’re super friendly and helpful. Even my local Papa John’s has been a disappointment compared to this place. After indulging myself at Hungry Howie’s, I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else again.

This is Darlene Sarfas and we used to eat at hungry Harry’s quite a bit but we did find that the sandwiches were little greasy I haven’t been in there recently but the salads are awesome. The sandwich in itself is good except for a bit on the greasy side so I would recommend it to anybody to go in there because it is a good sandwich thank you

The Pizza at Hungry Howies is as good as you will find. 6.79 for a Large cheese or Pepperoni with free flavors on the crust, 4.99 on Wednesdays. It’s worth every penny. So far my experience has been very good and I plan on coming back.

This is a tiny shop with three small tables that two people can sit at and be crowded. The food was mediocre. The pizza was salty and the wings were small and kind of bland, unless you poured sauce on them which they give you. One 14″ pizza with two toppings one order of 10 wings and two drinks came to just over $ 20.00 so it was pretty reasonable. The staff was nice but the person at the register was to busy texting to really pay attention to our request for plates. I spoke with one of the owners afterwards and he was very nice and wanted«to fix» it. So he gets an A+ for effort and customer service. I don’t expect any business to be 100% all the time! but Hungry Howies will fix it if you let them know.

A small shop in the Winn-Dixie shopping center on Taft Street, Hungry Howie’s has various specialty pizzas, salads, and oven baked subs. There’s also chicken wings, chicken tenders, breads, desserts, and oven baked pastas such as spaghetti, ziti, ravioli, chicken alfredo, and chicken parmesan. The guy behind the counter looked like he had a rough day. No smile and no greeting as he took my order of 3 medium 1-topping pizzas for $ 17. Then he asked me what flavored crust I wanted. HUH? Flavored crust? Never been asked that before. Apparently at Hungry Howie’s, you have a choice of different flavors to brush on the crust of the pizza such as onion, garlic herb, cajun, butter, ranch, and butter cheese. I chose butter for all three pizzas. My order was ready within 15 minutes. My stomach started growling as soon as the scent from the boxes hit my nose. I couldn’t wait to get home. Each of the pizzas tasted pretty good. They were all nicely baked to a golden brown, complemented with a savory tomato sauce and fresh toppings. The butter flavor that I chose to put on the pizza crust made it a bit greasy, but my family and I still ate it. I just may consider trying Hungry Howie’s again. I’m not really crazy about their menu overall, but there’s a few specialty pizzas that looks intriguing.

The food is really good, and fresh. Excellent customer service. I ordered a large pizza with flavoured crust and it was delicious, wings were very tasty too.

Excellent pizza for a carry out/delivery place. They use just the right amount of sauce and toppings on each slice. The crust is really good and not too doughy or hard. The staff is always nice and the pizza is always ready when they say it will be. The carry out deal for a large pizza is a great deal. The chocolate pizza is just the right size and hasn’t disappointed yet. Howie: you do pizza right!

This place has good pizza for a good price. The flavored crusts alone are reason enough to try Hungry Howie’s. I definitely recommend trying it out.
