Jap Auto Pro

I have taken my car here for 8 years and my partner has taken his newer car here as well. I used to trust them and I feel some really shadiness and very bad attitude from them currently. I think if you don’t have the respect of a long time customer they certainly want have any repeat for you and do not use them. When I called today to ask questions and have them fill out a form the man was very rude and condicending on the phone and when I ask to speak to the manager he hung up on me. In the last 45 days I would say I have spent close to $ 1,000 with them on my car. Last time was $ 311 and very soon before that I think $ 543 but don’t quote me on that. When my partner took it in for me on the $ 543 time I said check EVERYTHING as I’m going on a huge road trip and sure enough a few weeks when I got back my started went out and I had to have them replace it. They said there was no way to tell that before … But as a customer I would have expected them to say mr your started is 10 years old do you want to replace it or something I mean really! They repaired a tire then that wasn’t even fixed and they obviously did check it after the repair. So I was curious if they even checked my tire pressure as when I check ALL 4 tires had a different pressure! When I took it in to have the started replaced I said nothing about the tires as I wanted to see if they would be honest. I picked my car up and the I ask the man specifically if he checked EVERYTHING AND HE ASSURED me everything was checked. When I picked my car up and drove off my low tire pressure light was still on from when I dropped it off. So I checked my tires and sure enough all were different pressures. If you can do the simple things I wonder how you can do ANYTHING. It’s 2:52 and NO return phone call yet either. I will NEVER TRUST THEM again until the rude behavior and poor service addressed. If one customer is dissatisfied that’s 1 to many and the standards are low so stay away for this shop.

I needed work on my truck and spent a lot of time getting quotes from different places I came across JAP Auto. I was given a quote that was more then other places I went to but rather then the parts being refurbished they were NEW parts, so I decided to go with JAP Auto. After being quote one price, I was told it was actually less then originally quoted… I was a happy customer. Until the worked started to get done I was now $ 500 over then originally being quoted, after being told it was lower then originally quotes, so I was confused. I trusted them and wanted the work to be done correctly. Finally when my truck was ready it was more then originally priced, the parts were refuribished and not new and my sirius satellite radio was stolen from out of my car. I will never recommend anyone to JAP Auto, after seeing all the positives reviews I was confident I found a new trustworthy mechanic. Sadly this has not been the case.

Been using this shop. since 1990. Always good reliable and honest service. They do not try to upsell you. Very competitive pricing esp compared to dealer. You. cant go wrong

Got treated by honest mechanics. didn’t feel pressured to purchase anything. Pointed out parts that needed to be taken car of. Definitely a shop worth going back too.

I have had several auto repairs done at Jap Auto Pro. They are pricey but they do proffessional work. They even gave me a ride home while my car was being fixed.
