I know it’s cliché but Jim, Amber and the team here are «there for you like a good neighbor». No joke. My wife was recently in a bad auto accident and I had never had to deal with anything like this before. Jim was, thoughtful, caring, and most of all efficient. Thank you Jim for taking care of me and my family.

Jim Olson is a friendly dedicated honest agent. As a State Farm client I always go to this State Farm office because they have the best staff in southern Cali. They are all so friendly and and have great service make me feel welcome. Always sent my bill on time or email which helps me with my busy schedule. The automatic payment is a big help as well. I highly recommend any one to visit or call for a quote. Thanks you guys.

I was looking for term life insurance and needed help after horrible experiences with Geico and NY Life. Jim is professional, patient, and his customer service is impeccable. He responded to my emails extremely quickly, followed up throughout and the kicker is it was the cheapest monthly premium I was offered!

Jim Olson and his team are amazing! I’ve had — car, home & rental Insurence with them for years. No one ever wants to contact their Insurence unless you absolutely have to. My flood situation was taken care of before I could even begin to stress. Very impressed with follow up and resolution. I even called Jim’s office on a question not concerning anything with this situation and he called right back while at his sons baseball game just to help with advice. There’s not many people who are caring in business to do that. My posts are few/​true & honest. I just don’t have the time but, Jim Olson & his team are worth sharing with my friends. I had a great experience coming into the office. I got help quickly and fast, and was able to get my life insurance that same day. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I love my insurance! The agent also help me with questions I had. I wouldn’t change my insurance at all or agent.

I’ve been a client of Jim’s for the past 8 years and I’ve received nothing but the best service. I had jumped around between insurance agents until I found Jim and his staff, and have been a loyal customer ever since. They are all incredibly hard working and attentive to my concerns. Not only is Jim incredibly kind and friendly, he is always available! I’ve even texted him on Saturday nights before regarding my policy and he is consistently quick to respond. Jim and his staff are the BEST! I received a call from his staff one day asking if I would like a FREE Insurance & Financial Review, ofcourse I said Yes. They even offered for him to come to our home. Jim went out of his way and came to our home in the evening when both my husband and I were home and did a review of all our policies we have with him. Until that day I didnt know what I was covered for and the policy limits I had. He sat down and went over all my coverages one by one. I also had a life insurance policy with another insurance company and he even went over that! He also did a financial review for our family. All in all, I am very pelased with my insurance agent and his staff. They are very knowledgeable, prompt, and efficient. I give Jim Olson and his agency 5 stars!

These people are so incompetent that it seems to defy all reason and logic. I simply moved and tried to change my address with them. Simple right? Apparently changing an address is vastly beyond their abilities. I realized this when I stopped receiving bills, so I called and attempted to change my address again, tried to do it through their website again, etc. and was assured that it was changed and I would be receiving bills. Nope. Not a single bill. Now I’m a rather busy person, I travel a lot for work and don’t exactly have the time to call State Farm and hold their fragile little hands through the billing process every month. As fully grown professional working adults they should be able to pull off the basic functions of their jobs on their own, or so you would think. This is where it gets amazing. After they sent me to collections for not paying a bill I never received on time I told them I had enough and was canceling. The woman I spoke to in this office told me that the USPS was unable to deliver mail to my address. Wow. WOOOOW. Ok, so the USPS cannot deliver mail to my address yet every other single bill, netflix movie, amazon order, jiffy lube coupon, etc. somehow mysteriously makes it to my mail box but State Farm, being the unique and magical unicorn that they are, somehow defies time and space through the United States Postal system so that when their bills are sent to my address it suddenly disappears. Someone needs to call Neil Degrasse Tyson, there maybe be a Nobel Prize on the line! A black hole has been discovered in Redondo Beach and the crack team of scientists at State Farm insurance are the only ones who can find it!
But I digress. In summary, don’t trust these people to handle your insurance.

Until I moved to Los Angeles I had never used an insurance company except for insurance of an accident. Fast forward six years later. Two car accidents, neither my fault, two break-​ins to my car covered by renters insurance. The process was easy and painless it’s nice to have a local agent in your neighborhood. When I was going to buy a house they even offered to come out and take pictures for homeowners insurance unfortunately the deal fell out of escrow but you get the point. These guys are the agents that you see in the commercials with the friendly front-​office people and agents who talks to you about the Dodgers and such. Like a good neighbor…

I’ve had my insurance with them for almost 7 years and I’m very thankful to Jim & his support staff for always taking great care of me.
They always manage to find me the right price with the best value. With the transition of my Multi Car Insurance and Life insurance policies with them, they were able to give me multiple discounts, where my price continues to decrease every year through their loyalty program. I highly recommend Jim Olson’s Insurance Services for anyone who’s looking for a premium insurance service at a great price.

Jim is never in the office and everyone that works in the office is not capable of helping you!

BEST BEST BEST!!! Jim and everyone who works at this office are amazing. I am especially fond of Amber. Her promptness and knowledge are totally unrivaled, and being a people person I love that she puts up with a bit of my chit chat. She will always listen to you, and hear everything that you have to say about whatever the situation is regarding your insurance, and never makes me feel rushed or gets annoyed. Merrilee just below me wrote that she drives from Beverly Hills all the way out to this location, and that is exactly what I recommend everyone to do. There just aren’t good agents like this at every corner, and it is well worth making sure that you are taken care of by going out of your way to get here.
Having just moved to Oregon, I am now in the unfortunate position of HAVING to find a new agent. First experience, not so good. Let’s hope It gets better!

This business is awful. The reps are mean, disrespectful and I was really offended by there ultra conservative views. Especially in Los angeles I was surprised at their disrespect of me and my partner. Yes we are same sex but that’s no reason to give us bad service and quote.

I just read the one other review for Jim on here and the reviewer sounded pretty excited. I have to say that I agree with them completely. This agency has the BEST customer service. 10 years ago I switched to Jim Olsen State Farm after being with Progressive for years. Finally the service was so bad that I made the switch. About 3 months later, I was in an accident that totaled my jaguar convertible. Totaled. Jim olsen and state farm had a check in my hand for more than the retail bb value of my car within 24 hrs. Got me a rental and handled the whole thing without a hitch. I have been with them ever since. One of the perks is that when you call, you talk to the same people every time so you get to know them. I have to assume that Jim treats the people he works with well because they stay with him. My rep, Amber, is the greatest. Jim is just a good honest agent and a family man. I live in Beverly Hills now and I stay with Jim even though I could find an agent closer. Check other reviews about Jim on other websites and you will see what I mean.
