Great customer service
I am really impressed with the customer service that was provided by Brandon and Pj. I was assisted as soon as I entered the building, there was a short wait time but they made me feel comfortable and promised it would not be a long wait time. I feel like I was in and out before the blink of an eye. I would recommend going to Pepboys store number 176. Love this location, it’s my home away from home.

not at all happy with this place!!! no oil change should be over $ 100!!! still trying to contact management!!! two thumbs down!!!

Took car in on ¹⁰⁄₂₉ to diagnose, was told we needed coolant flush. and that it would take 2 hours (meaning we were the last car for the night) sitting in the lobby waiting for hours, technician hardly spoke English didn’t even test drive the car when he was done. We drove the car up the street to Hollywood blvd car instantly overheated and start making this weird noise then shut off. let it sit for a few minutes, try starting and it started with a struggle, we had no choice but to park it off the street where IHOP used to be on 441 overnight due to the instant overheat on start up. We called the store on ¹⁰⁄₃₀ and spoke to store manager who basically told us that it was our problem and hung up the phone. We then call customer relations and made a complaint, customer relations say the case was dispatched to regional manager who would call us back in 24 hours. I called back on 10/​31, and was told again to wait another 24 hours. Still no call back. I then called customer relations again on ¹¹⁄₂ and ¹¹⁄₅ and still was told to wait for a call back. I am not stopping until I receive a phone call even if I have to email the President of Pepboys oh trust me I will.

I had a really good experience w/​Pep Boys. My son was having issues w/​his car. We had taken his car to the Honda dealer for a recall. Of course the dealership gives us a whole «inspection» and a long list of things that must get done on the car…1,400.00 worth. So we took the car to Pep Boys for inspection and ended up servicing it for a total of $ 700 & half of the things we were told at the dealership wasn’t even needed. At this Pep Boys location we were treated very well, courteous and respectful. I would definitely recommend them!

To start off, Our experience with this Pep Boys was fantastic! We went in for a new battery, which meanwhile we were waiting for it to get installed, the manager informed us that the gentlemen that ordered the battery, ordered the wrong one and ours wasnt in stock. At first we were a bit disappointed but immediately he told us not worry and would take care of it. Instead of making us wait another day to get the one right one, he gave us a better battery which was more expensive at no extra charge just for the inconvience! So far this is the best treatment we have ever had in a place like this. We highly recommend it here, the staff and customer service was excellent. If you need someone to take care of you, ask for Juan! Thank you Juan for making our experience with Pep Boys a pleasure!

Two weeks ago I went to PepBoys to change the battery of my Chevy SUV.
I requested to Bob Hines at the counter, to check if it was the Alternator or the Battery. He told me after the mechanic looked at it, the Battery was bad, and the most inexpensive was $ 172.00 installed with 3 years warranty, and I agreed to get it.
I had to wait a couple of hours and after I paid my bill, he handed me the key, I went to my SUV and it didn’t start. I went back to the counter and Bob came with me to the vehicle, and it didn’t start for him either, so I had to do a jump-​start it.
He told me that sometimes a brand new Battery needed to be charged… that if I still have this problem with the battery to come back and they will exchange it. The battery went dead many times in two weeks.
Since they installed the new battery, I have seen in the dashboard a light that goes on and off, is a car and a padlock.
I had time this morning so I went back to the shop, the Manager of PepBoys took care of me. I explained him the problem and also requested an oil change. He told me that there are 3 computers in my vehicle and it will cost me $ 45.00 to check the diagnostic… I was not very happy, but I did agree.
A few minutes later, he came outside where I was waiting and told me that I have to pay $ 75.00 for the oil change, that I need a synthetic oil requested by the manufacturer. I paid in the past for that oil $ 45.00 in another shop… I got upset and asked him for my keys…
So, how do I know if my old battery was bad in the first place?
I hate when they promise me a change of the Battery and they didn’t do it!
Now I will go to a Chevy Dealer to get if check out and pay a small fortune… I hate to getting ripped off! I’m a Cancer patient and I don’t have money to throw away!

Very disappointed in the service. They told me they couldn’t do a conventional oil change. Therefore, my $ 19.99 coupon could not be used. It MUST be synthetic only for my car. And that would cost $ 77. After calling the dealer where I got my car they said synthetic blend which is $ 56.99. Called Goodyear across the street from them and they quoted me $ 39.95 for synthetic blend oil change. Always out to rob you whenever they can! I may be a female but I’m not stupid!!! Will never go there again!

Those were the angry words coming out of my mouth when I found out my vehicle wouldn’t start. Well… not exactly. When I actually said those words, there was an expletive in there. And do you blame me? There I was, got my day all planned out. Jumped in the vehicle, put the key into the ignition only to hear a clicking sound. This has surely pissed me off, but it wasn’t the time to be acting irrational. After calming myself down, I grabbed my phone and called Pep Boys.
After explaining the situation, I was told the problem could be the starter and to call 1−800-PEP-BOYS to tow the vehicle to the business. The whole process was simple. Courtesy calls was given to let me know of the tow trucks arrival. The tow truck driver was punctual, friendly, and professional. In fact, the driver was a very nice person to talk to during the 15 minute drive.
Pep Boys was pretty busy. Miguel, an employee, had an engine diagnostic test done to determine what the actual problem was. After 25 minutes, Miguel informed me that not only the starter needed to be replaced, but also the battery because it had some corrosion on it. I agreed to have the service done. I needed my vehicle in good running condition. I got things to do and places to be. I got a life!
Anyway, after waiting a little over an hour and a half, my vehicle was ready. What a relief it was to sit in the driver’s seat, turn the key and hear the engine roar to life. YAY!!! Much thanks to Miguel. He was nice, courteous, and professional. Satisfactory customer service. Thank you Pep Boys!

Hi Captain Bob here, I like to write a positive review for pep boys on Sheridan St Hollywood Fl. When it comes to mechanic shops all you read is bad reviews that is because they deal in such large volumes it is hard to please everyone. In my case I have an 89 Caddie and it was time for a lot of work. The
Staff, mechanic and Bob the manger all pitched in to get the work I needed done and at a reasonable price I received over $ 100.00 in reward points and Me and my car are happy, happy, happy. If your looking for good service and prices I would give them a try. Sea U Captain Bob

Great people, Great Service! Came after 9pm closing and they still changed my tire!

I haven’t been to PepBoys for years. I needed new tires etc and I visited this PepBoys in Hollywood, FL. They helped me out with several issues with my Honda Accord. The service I received was amazing. The person who helped me was Sebastian. He is very helpful and professional.

Store manager called, standard blah blah blah, discount coupon, family discount service, blah blah. Refused it all, told him I will not do business with PBoys. I want to speak with the regional manager, customer service says I cannot speak to anyone above store manager. I do not need PBoys, I bought battery from their neighbors Advanced and they installed it. PBoys lies about what they check during an oil change, even the $ 42 price was a lie, since their chalk board price list said $ 27. Just go to your local mechanic and let that guy earn a living, I usually do but it was Sunday and I just wanted a quick oil change. $ 42 and 2 hours got me here. Wonderful!

Getting a ticket for having no brakes lights is never fun, and yes it’s also dangerous, but after going through the usual changing of the light bulbs, and fuses, they still didn’t work. So the next logical step was to set up an appointment with this Pep Boys location to see if they could help me out.
Juan took care of everything I needed and was extremely helpful. Being a girl it’s usually intimidating to go into a an auto shop and try to not get ripped off, but Juan was incredible. He called me a few hours later and broke down everything that needed to be done to fix my situation (burned out light bulb sockets and a faulty brake switch on my pedal), including all the costs (parts and labor) associated with it. He even took off $ 50 for what I was having done since it was a hefty price.
With the quick service and friendliness at this location — especially from Juan, I will definitely be bringing my car back here for any other services.
