Phil’s Good Crepes

Soooo good! We were famished, wandering around Yellow Green Market on a late Saturday morning, trying to decide what sounded good. One of the neighboring retail booths asked us what we were hungry for, and we mentioned breakfast. She pointed to Phil’s booth and said that he made the most amazing ham, egg, cheese croissant– best breakfast in the market.
We took her recommendation and popped over to see Phil, ordering a couple of the croissants. The croissants themselves were obviously fresh baked this morning, and he assembled and toasted everything to order. Once they came out, we noticed they were huge! And they were delicious. Exactly what we wanted.
He put together a sample of a lunch-​style croissant with some ham, Gruyère, and bechamel that was also to die for. So good and so rich.
We made sure to pop back by on our way out to pick up a couple more croissants for home, and this will likely be our go-​to brunch any time we make it back to YG.
(I don’t recall his booth number, but it was near the center north-​south, right in front of one of the east-​side doors…)

Omg this booth is fantastic, absolutement Phil is such a friendly guy and the Vegan crêpe was so good. If you’re at the Yellow Green Farmers Market, please do yourself a favor and stop by! He can pretty much make you what you want, sweet or savory, vegan or not. Without a doubt, I’ll be back to try some more of his creations.
