Was a little confused with the location being located in Scientology. Was kinda lost when we got there, till we asked one of the staff for directions how to get to the restaurant. Small, initiate place to hang out with friends for brunch. Buffet brunch was ok, nothing fantastic and nothing bad, just average. Service is good.

This is an amazing brunch location. Peaceful and tranquil garden. Artistically decorated interior. All the staff on site are friendly and helpful. As we walked in and looked lost at the parking lot, a garden staff that is working on some plant got down from her ladder guided and walked us into the restaurant. The server Issac and Stephanie were so sweet and helpful, cleaning up table and dishes as we finish. They even set a gift table for us. The brunch is a buffet style brunch. $ 14 all you can eat. There’s a good variety of pancake, deviled egg, salad, beets, meatballs, salmon, fruits and bread and butter. For an additional $ 4, it’s all you can drink juice and iced tea. You can also add mimosa. Service is definitely a 5 stars here. Location is beautiful inside the manor hotel by the Scientology building.

Sublime! I’ve been living next to place for 4 years and never knew it’s insides had such a pleasant & welcoming restaurant that obliged my affinity for Sunday brunch buffets! Only $ 14 a person plus $ 4 for endless fresh squeezed juices and some pretty mindful service. All in all it’s worth a peep if you’re in the area, very happy to have found my new Sunday morning rendezvous, come say hi if you see me, I’ll be the cute guy chatting it up with all the employees, as they too seem to be aficionados for a good verbal joust! Cheers ;)

Just ate their brunch buffet and it was amazing. You really can’t beat an all you can eat $ 14 buffet with salad, fruit, omletes, pancakes, crepes, ravioli, sausage, potatoes and grilled veggies with plenty of vegetarian options. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The four stars is for the fact that it is hard to find, being in the middle of the scientology center, however parking was easy to find on the street. The restaurant it self is a bit small, so you might want to call ahead if you have larger groups. Overall I would give 4.5 stars if I could.

Had an amazing experience! Was a little confused at first that it was in the Scientology Center but after finding the(complimentary) valet parking and walking past the café + lobby, I found myself in a beautifully quaint restaurant with soft music playing in the background. It was on a Thursday night, and besides my friend’s birthday party there was only one other group there so not crowded at all. Despite the very lush surroundings, the prices are pretty affordable and the food was DIVINE. I had the fettuccini alfredo with tiger shrimp which was actually a pretty big serving. It was rich, creamy & came with a mound of super soft Parmesan on the side to sprinkle in. I also tried my friend’s duck risotto which was the perfect blend of flavor and creaminess and also a very good sized portion. Not to worry if you’re hungry before your meal comes out — they bring freshly baked baguette slices to your table with butter balls, olive oil & red vinegar… Yum! To be honest the highlight of the meal for me was our incredibly gracious and attentive waiter, an older man with what I believe is a French accent. He made sure we were well taken care of and even noticed when someone else had overcharged us, which we had missed! I absolutely would go here again. This is a hidden gem of LA that people don’t know about… It’s tempting to keep it that way so that there are no worries about crowds in the future.

Enjoyed a fabulous Mother’s Day brunch outside by the waterfalls! For number of years the brunch was a little«old-school» but it is newly revamped and the food is fabulous, with tons of choices, the juices are all fresh squeezed, most of the produce is organic! the desserts are luscious and there is now beer, wine and cocktails! The service is great and there’s no tipping.

I had an amazing Mother’s Day brunch here and enjoyed the music, atmosphere and company. The food was very delicious and the service was 6 star. The artist performing was, in my opinion, Grammy worthy! The artist took my request to play the late Fats Waller’s music– not only did she sing it– it took me back to a moment in time. It’s great to be around like minds, I feel at home when I’m here. Beat, Stephanie and Pancho are amazing beings.

This review is for Easter Brunch. My family went here for Easter brunch this year, and we’ve been here several times in the past for Easter brunch. The food has been virtually the same every time we’ve come here, and it’s just ok compared to other Sunday brunches. Personally, I didn’t have any issue with what they were serving, it was decent and unremarkable, but several at my table expressed the carving station beef was tough and the potatoes were almost inedible. They had a good omelet station and freshly made waffles with delicious whipped cream. I thought the bacon was delicious, even if slightly underdone for most at my table. They just didn’t have many options. Small salad bar, decent number of deserts, but my little cousins, who typically devour deserts for their meal on Easter brunch, didn’t enjoy the offerings. The service: everyone always had a smile and was very friendly, but except for the initial asking us what we wanted to drink, no one came by to refill our water and OJ. Not once. I used to work at a high end restaurant and we had a very nice Easter brunch, and all the servers were constantly refilling champagne, OJ, and coffee, even if they weren’t your assigned tables. I did enjoy the live music, and having the seating outside was very nice. They had an Easter bunny who looked pretty darn dirty, like a fraternity brother wore it drinking the night before and was found the next morning curled up in the bushes. I’m sure the kids loved it tho, and he was very friendly. Overall, it was a decent day, but there are other places I would rather visit for brunch.

Couldn’t secure a reservation the night before Valentine’s day anywhere, stumbled on this restaurant on Unilocal, they still have a spot open for early dinner. Let’s just say the experience made my wife very happy. This place is inside of a French style castle, with French speaking waiter serves French food. What else do you want for your Valentine’s day dinner?

I grabbed lunch there with the bestie visiting from NO. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that their entire menu was non GMO and organic. WOW! That is a restaurant that pays attention to detail. They get 5 stars just for that in my book. If you don’t know what GMO’s are, they’re genetically modified organisms in our foods created in labs, altering our DNA and wreaking havoc in our bodies, very difficult to avoid these days. This is not«some scientology term,» It is reality. Please go learn about what’s in your food comrades. I will eat there just for that. The décor and atmosphere get a star, absolutely beautiful, even with the construction of a banquet going on, I found the place exquisite. Cloth napkins, beautiful silverware. 5 stars for the Maitre D Gerard, a wonderful and lovely gentleman, and we loved our waitress. Impeccable service, glasses get filled. Every crumb on the table removed promptly. Friendly atmosphere. Gerard is French and was happy to speak to us in French. We had the waitress chatting as well, we had loads of questions about everything. We ordered ravioli, mozzarella salad and scallops and split it all. The bread was fresh baked, French, delicious! We cleaned our plates. Next time I will dress up. I was casual, although I felt quite comfortable, some patrons were casual, others more well-dressed, but the place demands my best. This place will be a regular dining spot for me for sure.

Delicious. Always such yummy wholesome food. Very french. Was invited here for the first time for a baby naming ceremony of one of my patients. The spread was FANTASTIC. :D Like what you see in a fancy movie. My hubby and I ate so much! :) Been coming here ever since! :)

I went here for Sunday brunch yesterday and frankly, found the food nearly inedible. Dried up omlette-like things, a «meh» salad bar, greasy chicken and mushroom crepes, nasty lasagna and lousy service.(The maitre’d was friendly and helpful but the service was sloooow.) The restaurant is cute, the grounds are nice, but alas it just was not a good meal. Even at $ 13(plus $ 3 for coffee and $ 9 for a mimosa) it so was not worth it. BUT… what was really weird was what happened after the meal… my boyfriend and I wandered into the bookstore(next to the restaurant) to look around. Nobody else was in the bookstore except the two guys working behind the counter. So we were greeted, asked if we needed any help, and after a moment, invited to go on a tour. Fine, great customer service, it’s all good. I politely declined, indicating that we had to leave in a moment and just wanted to look around for a moment(all true– and I’ve taken the tour before, besides) and that seemed to be fine. Lovely. Then, after a moment more, as we’re just browsing the books and jewelry and whatnot, the dude behind the counter picks up the phone, calls someone and says«Hi, I have two guys here in the bookstore, they say they are just looking around and not interested in a tour…» WHATTHEFUCKISTHATABOUT?! Um you know we can hear you, right? Are you calling security? Are you going to throw a bag over our heads and kidnap us? We’re two L.A. homos in t-shirts and shorts, it’s not like we look threatening in any way… Hey Scientology, way to FREAKUSTHEFUCKOUT. Needless to say we got the hell out of there immediately. We definitely won’t be back.

the renaissance restaurant surprised me — i thought it would be kinda creepy with scary waiters but it was actually a really nice, upscale space with an excellent garden view. for under $ 13, you get an all-you-can-eat brunch which is kinda an insane deal! almost as insane as scientologists! as for the food — it wasn’t the most amazing i’ve ever had, but it was certainly good value for the money. i’m not a huge pancake fan, but their pancakes were TITE. the sausage was gross. the bacon was fine. the ravioli was creamy, slightly sweet, and AMAZING. also they have mimosas! the $ 9 drink was about as much as the food so i’d recommend skipping the booze. if you haven’t already checked out the actual church, i encourage you to do so. request to watch their introductory video. totally freaky!

It’s a bit intimidating walking into the Scientology Center craving pancakes and wondering if they are going to try to proselytize you over buffet while you grab omelets and sausage, but I took the challenge. The food was amazingly good and the service was impeccable. Also the restaurant has a feel like you are not even in Hollywood off of a major street. Instead it’s almost like you are in a fancy resort. The best part of the buffet was the pancakes, they were nice and fluffy and the fruit on top was perfection. I will return again.

Impressive! I came as part of a cultural experiment. Sometimes on Sundays i like to explore new things and demystify those groups/communities that i am unfamiliar with. i love dining at the Hare Krishna Center, for example; and have shared bread(or rather noodles) with the Won Buddhist Koreans in K-town. Today, it was the Renaissance Restaurant inside the Scientology Celebrity Center. Showed up with 3 friends. We had a reservation. The inside looked like an old English parlor where one might meet for afternoon tea and crumpets. Very quaint and elegant. Large wooden doors, elegant country-side décor. The smell of crispy bacon enticing the nostrils– we sat down. Service was exquisite. Our coffee cups and water glasses always filled. Brunch means you pay ONLY $ 12.95 per person for a buffet fit for royalty. Fresh and high quality ingredients to make anything from a creative healthy salad to meat and potatoes. Deviled eggs and pancakes were my favorite. Coffee also had a distinct and tasty aroma. Goes to show, so many of us live in our carved out bubbles, too limited by our own perceptions or too lazy to venture outside of our comfort zones, that we miss out on a completely NORMAL and delightful experiences that different communities have to offer. For precaution we made the reservation under a pseudo-name and we paid in cash so as not to leave any trace of our identity/credit card information. But no one came up to us trying to push anything on us; no one offered us a stress test or a lecture, we were left alone to enjoy a most delicious meal. I will certainly return!

I always wanted to get married in a white 17th century castle surrounded by amazing gardens and fountains… luckily there is one such place in the heart of Hollywood! We rented out the Renaissance Restaurant for 5 hours on a saturday and paid for a brunch type menu per guest. They get 5 stars for their french maitre di, the awesome waiters and the hotel staff.
