I absolutely love this night club. For a while, I was going every weekend. The staff is so friendly, I love the security, the music is mostly ALWAYS on point and the atmosphere is SO FUN. The bathrooms are always clean and they are CONSTANTLY wiping the dance floor throughout the night so that it doesn’t get sticky. It’s such a great spot to dance.

Normally I’m not the type to go to clubs anymore, but a few girlfriends were coming down for a birthday and were going to The Argyle, so I stopped by. Like all major clubs in Los Angeles, there was a line outside but since they had a table, I was able to bypass the line. It was a Saturday night and they were playing top 40 songs and transitioned into EDM music which wasn’t bad, just not really my type of music but I didn’t mind it. The crowd was very lively, the set up was nice, and it wasn’t a bad night. A nice girl’s night every now and then is much needed. If you are young and still into the club scene, the Argyle is a definite place to go to.

Hmm where to start.
For starters, they ran out of ice. Yes, they were selling drinks without ice. I wasn’t even warned. I ordered two simple drinks. Vodka w/​pineapple. Payed $ 26 for two shit shat drinks with NO ICE. I told the bartender where is the ice and she mentioned they ran out walked away. Oh okay, that’s cool. I’ll drink warm alcohol. NOT! I ended up walking away as well already put in a pissy mood. Aside from that, they load the drinks with too much alcohol. I am not trying to get drunk with my first 2 drinks!
In the act of it all, I ended up departing from my sister and realized at a certain point I had to look for her in case she was drunk somewhere. I walked around the club looking for her mind you it’s my first time here. I am not familiar with entrances or areas I shouldn’t be in. So there was a curtain used for blocking an entrance which I was unaware of, and I opened it. As soon as I did that, one of the security guards (female) grabbed me by my arm and so rudely told me «KEEP IT MOVING GIRL» as she pushed me forward. How dare she place her hands on me! It was a mistake on my behalf I am only trying to find my sister I had NO idea what was behind that curtain. Her coworker said to her as she laughed «Girl I love it when you work» That pissed me off even more. At this point, I wasn’t feeling the vibe anymore. Later on, me and my friend approached the bar and he purchased a drink. He was kicked out for refusing to throw out his drink at 1:45 am. He had JUST bought the drink. If securities were asking for people to get rid of their drinks, they should have closed the bar beforehand. He wasn’t about to toss the $ 13 drink he just bought. I get that they have a standard rule but he had just purchased the drink. So was taken outside by the bouncers.
I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone, unless you enjoy shitty music, lousy drinks, and rude service.

BEWARE: don’t waste your $$ on going here or getting a bottle service. If I could give Zero, I would. The club inside sucks. It smells poor odor inside, small, dark, shitty attitude by the bouncers, & especially stinky breathed dude looks like a coke head named «Julius» who was rude AF to my girls. You can barely walk inside this place and see each other. If you want a bottle service or a table, this is NOT the place to waste your birthday or anything you celebrating. Take your money somewhere else. There are many upscale classy clubs or lounges around Hollywood. Our crew has partied at pretty much all the upscale clubs and this is WORST ever. Check on Unilocal other clubs before heading out. Good Luck Party People.
My recommendation & experience: Goto W hotel next door, club Sound, Playhouse, Standard, or Roosevelt.

Monday night not letting in 1 girl even though all the rest are on the list. Idiots. Especially when the girls they refused are both beauty queens… All the girls they let in were ugly.

Unfortunately not a big girl friendly venue! Would have been nice to hang, listen to some good music & have a few drinks with my homegirl before heading back to Texas, but I can’t help that thick & beautiful is not the standard in Hollywood! #LoveTheSkinYourIn

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! I don’t know a better word that describes this shit hole. For my birthday, a couple of my friends and I wanted to go to a club and I knew of a promoter, named Reza, who could get us in. So it’s 11:30 and we pull up to the club and I call him to meet us in the front. He comes and tells me that the bouncer or dumbass that looks like geiko lizard (I am not the one that comments on people’s physical appearance) but. After the treatment my friends and I got at this place I think I have every right to say it. He tells the promoter that my friends and I don’t «fit» in the physical appearance category that this club promotes or let’s in. Which to me looked like a bunch of skinny, white stick figured girls that were dressed in jeans and white tee. Never going here ever again. Please do yourselves a favor and don’t step foot in this place.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I hardly ever right reviews but this place was bloody awful. The bouncers/​promoters are pricks and only let in their friends or skinny model looking girls. I went with a group of girls and they would only let in 2 at a time and we wouldn’t go in without all of us (we were a group of 4) at one point I could hear the promoter saying 3 of my friends could go in but not the chubby one) this place is horrible DO NOT GO HERE.

Tonight is my 21^st birthday and I got lectured for something I didn’t do and got kicked out. My best friend got sexually assaulted by a bald bus boy/​runner and he shoved her and my friends out of the club. This was because he came up behind her and touched her inappropriately and she reacted as any girl would and pushed him away. So thank you Argyle you lectured me thinking my friend was me and kicked me out of my first club experience. GIRLS DONT GO HERE IF YOU DONT WANT THE BARTENDERS GROPING YOU AS THEY WALK BY. Thanks for the experience. You suck.

The place is small, overpriced and overrated. While waiting in line, take one look at the crowd going in and you’ll immediately leave. If possibly getting shot is something you’re into and you don’t want to wait in line, pay for an overpriced table or find one of their 10,000 sketchy promoters (aka. any acquaintance of the low IQ’ed henchmen in the front).
I’ve been there on week nights and weekends, both a headache of an experience, both against my will.
People working the door are idiots. That’s the most polite way I can put it.
Not to mention, it was freaking cold that night and when a wannabe club like this expects you to look a certain way and dress a certain way, they better let you in without waiting.
Don’t do it. Don’t go. Fair warning.

And fhere was took me out and I couldn’t go inside. Finally I walked almost 1 hour without my shoes… Cuz my shoes break in the club. Than they said if I don’t have shoes I can’t go inside .

We got bottle service it was grear everything was refilled by the guy and cleaned. And the cocktail waitress made our drinks all night.

This place is horrible. Tried to go for my birthday last year, even ratio, no one waiting, wouldn’t let any of us in. It felt like discrimination at some point and most of the people who work there are jerks. I forget easily apparently, tried to go last night for a friends birthday. Promoters too into themselves, typical LA thing. They all just stand there, literally, and talk to mysterious people on their phones. Typical long line waiting. In vegas, the clubs are x10 better, and it’s way easier to get in.

Place is super small, I guess it can be used for private parties?
The drinks were terribly watered down, and for $ 13 a pop those aren’t going to cut it.
Overall I’ve been to better clubs.

we show up to hang with them, careless where. but before these bimbo types acting well beyond their entitlement. Thin average YOUNG. Who cares!
This place is tucked away from the strip, and looks and feels like a dump straight from the jump. I seriously hope my political ties closes this place down, bc they had a bunch of underage tramps running around and the Persian mafia running it.
Not worried about it, my night was badass without it and totally forgot about my experience until I was asked about how it was. Being that I was going to hang with some friends to see «Né-​Yo» lol.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this place.
Ok I mean I did go on a tuesday so my bad for expecting too much.
Actually I had no expectations whatsoever and this place still managed to disappoint me.
First of all the way they judge people to get in is just ridiculous! The bouncer guy looked me up and down a few times as if trying to decide if i was hot enough to get in. He wasn’t even slick about it. It was so obvious and rude I wanted to leave before we even got in.
And the worst part… THE WORST PART… was the DJ. OMG. Never in my life have I ever heard someone so terrible. At one point in the night the guy actually busted out all star by smash mouth… ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
Will definitely never be back. I mean the music and atmosphere may be different on the weekends but just the fact that they judge the women in the club so harshly… not ok! OHHHH and they let the creepiest guys in. I seriously thought I was going to get kidnapped or something.

I had one of the best nights here. The staff was excellent and great bottle service. Wednesdays is Russian night. I was invited tonight from my clients. The place is done beautifully from A to Z. We had about 8 people and did not have to wait at all.
If you are a person who enjoys great bottle service you need to give this place a try. The security are excellent. Every couple minutes the server would come over to make sure everything is good. I have been to a lot of clubs all over the world. This place has the NY vibe that LA missing.
Hands down one of the best clubs in LA. It can be a hit or miss.
