Had the pleasure of trying this food truck out during Miami Beer Fest. What better way to feed the beer buzz than with some smothered fries. I decided on the Bacon Bacon and have no regrets. The fries are fresh and crunchy. The sauce bacony and creamy. It’s a match made in heaven. At $ 8, it was a nice, substantial helping of yumminess. I would consider trying the Taco fries next time but I really can’t say no to bacon so we shall see!

A lot of the meals served at the Food Truck Events in Hollywood do not serve a side of fries(or anything else) so Top Fries is a good choice to get something on the side. With different options and noticeably fresh ingredients, Top Fries has become a staple in our trips to the Food Truck event. The mojito sauce is awesome, it’s more of a pesto sauce then anything, so you’ll barely taste the lime but its the perfect topping on fries I think!

Who doesn’t like a good French fries? As the name suggested, they do fries. With various toppings such as mojito(garlic, olive oil, cilantro and lime), bacon, pulled pork, aioli, taco(ground beef, chipotle mayo and cheese), disco(mozz and gravy)… you get the idea. There are about 6 – 8 varieties, which changes once in a while. I was undecided between the poutine and the mojito, and when I asked the owner, Manny, he was kind enough to do a split for me, so I get to try both. The fries are good, with a good crunchiness on the outside, and the inside isn’t mushy. Mojito is certainly interesting with good acidity, poutine is okay, I like my curd squeakier. I was glad I got a half-and-half because if I were to eat the whole thing of one flavor, it would be too salty or too acidic. If I had some food, or beer to go with it it would be perfect, but then they don’t sell beer at Young Circle.
