Stopped in after a bike ride to get a coffee and hot chocolate. Everyone was very friendly. I loved the décor, great ‘under the sea’ theme. They made my hot chocolate just how I like it, normal(if not salted caramel) with a dash of whipped cream. My dad loved his coffee. I have one question. Can I rate this more than five stars? I love it!

Went in with my wife, who has dairy allergies. She ordered a green tea latte with coconut milk and, when she wanted to verify that it was made with coconut milk, the barista was intensely rude. She said«If that’s what it says on the cup, that’s what it is.» My wife apologized and said she just needed to be sure because she gets very ill if she has dairy and the woman turned around and, with her back to us, repeated even more rudely said«If It was on the cup, that’s how I made it.» My father in law, who lives just down the road from this shop, said he has had similar experiences just ordering black coffee. Unacceptable. Without this barista, a much higher rating would be likely.

Cute little coffee shop with a nice area to sit, relax, and enjoy whatever drink you ordered. The décor is «mermaid-esque» — fitting for the island it’s on. They offer a good selection of coffee drinks for not very expensive prices and the service is friendly. It’s basically the only coffee shop on that part of the island until you go down towards the tip(and luckily for the locals and tourists alike, it’s a good one)!

Very good coffee the few times we stopped during our vacation. Took a little time for the drinks because only 1 person was working, but it was worth the wait for some good coffee! Would def return.

Ordered a latte and a soy chai. Both were awful. The barista was also NOT friendly. Giving it two stars because possibly the regular coffee or food items are good. However, my husband’s drink as well as mine were some of the worst we have ever had.

We’re always looking for great morning coffee — the hotel coffee just doesn’t cut it — so we were excited to try Island Coffee Haus on this visit to AMI. Fortunately the coffee did not disappoint — fresh, hot and delicious. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the so called breakfast sandwiches… they were nuked for starters, the bacon was unrecognizable, and the texture was mushy. My husband had to make a second trip out to find something edible for us. Will stop by for coffee our next trip in a few weeks but hope they improve their breakfast menu items.

Do normally I write my own reviews but this review is because my best friends have visited the store every morning since our arrival on the island. Great local flair, good coffee drinks and terrific, friendly service. Homemade popsicle! Yes homemade popsicles. Island Coffee Haus is a do not miss.

My husband and I just recently moved to Bradenton and we went exploring to find some solid coffee spots. This one trumps all so far! Island Coffee Haus is a humble little shop by the beach. As soon as we walked in the baristas greatest us with smiles and looked excited about being there. Super start! So my husband and I decided to stick with the basics — we got two iced coffees — and they were killer! My husband is a form believer is cream and sugar but not here! He drank it black and loved. These folks know what they’re doing an do it with a smile. We will definitely be back often!

Great service and coffee! The small cup is a good size! Got the hot mocha and my boyfriend got the blended mocha, both were great! They have a couple adirondack chairs outside and plenty of seating inside. Very clean coffee shop. Awesome little coffee shop on the island!

Nice coffee shop, free wifi classic real espresso drinks, but the prices are high. There are two ladies working usually at a slower pace, dont think I would want to be here when it was busy because it would take forever. The workers were friendly but very condescending, laughing at my wife when we tried to order and asked a seeming«dumb question» to them. The coffee is mediocre, nothing to write home about. I had their regular coffee and an americano, both leaving me thinking I have had much better and paid too much. Being it is the only shop around I found, it works, but I would be quick to try another place close by.

The coffee in this shop is excellent and they have a great coffee machine They have the Ferrari of the machines and know how to make a real cappuccino. The place looks nice to spend some time there. Their brownies are wonderful.

Nice, little shop in a strip mall. The coffee is excellent: Americano for me. Rich, smooth flavor, no cream or sweetener necessary. They seem to have only one type of bean which is fine. Just don’t expect an assortment. Yes, they serve in mugs! Always a bonus. Group sitting is limited but there is a long counter. I found the atmosphere lacking: cluttered and mermaid décor with huge windows and typical lighting. Since I usually sit in-house to savor coffee, atmosphere is important this is why I gave this shop four instead of five stars. My husband ordered hot chocolate using almond milk. He said it was delicious and surprised that there was NO additional charge for the almond milk. Rare treat on the wallet. They also have soy milk. We did not indulge but there was a variety of baked goods. A note on the board said to inquire if you want gluten-free. Typical options of coffee drinks and prices.
