Time Saver Food Store

Love this place. I’ve lived here for years and this is always my go-​to for beer/​wine/​e-​liquid. Great selection, reasonable prices and friendly management. Thanks guys!

This place never ceases to amaze me ! An awesome selection of rated wine, it’s incredible to see this wide range of variety in a little island! Oh I almost forgot over 100 microbrew beers!

A convenience store with a better than average selection, including a variety of wines and cigars. Wines vary from inexpensive «supermarket» labels to higher-​priced, fine wines. I hear the cigars are of good quality.
They also feature a charcuterie case of sorts — mostly Boars Head cheese & cured meats, nothing special but would definitely serve the purpose of an impromptu wine/​cheese gathering while vacationing. Also available are other typical convenience store items, including some higher end snacks and beverages.
Staff was pleasant if not a tad preoccupied/​disinterested. We had a bit of difficulty finding it the store and tried to call to get the exact location. Our call went unanswered, but when we did arrive a minute or two later, the clerk was standing at the counter reading. Perhaps she’d been helping someone and couldn’t answer when we called, but going by her demeanor while we were there, I think not.
Overall, certainly a less run-​of-​the-​mill option than a Circle K or 7 – 11.

I live in the area not far from this store. Whenever I shop there for convenience I have to be careful. I once purchased a pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and it had freezer burn so I had to return it for another. Tonight I purchased a stick of dry salami from the display case. When I got home I noticed the paper packaging was loose, more loose than the others. When I unwrapped the paper packaging I noticed the salami inside didn’t look good. Upon close inspection I found about an inch of plastic was not sealed at one end and the salami had been exposed to the air to a degree. It almost looked suspicious like the packaging had been tampered with, but who knows? I just threw it away and called the store. The man at the store at least offered me a refund and took note of what happened.

So I go in to get some beer for a friend, couldn’t remember what it was called so I took a pic to be sure I was getting the right thing. Then the guy behind the counter started yelling at me about taking pictures of prices!!! turns out it was the right beer, but he wanted it in the big cans. the guy behind the counter told me there wasn’t such a thing, they only come in glass. LIE! then I get home and find out he charged me an extra dollar. He made me feel very uneasy, he can keep the dollar as long as I never have to see him again

Great wine selection including nice cheap ones or high (expensive) ones. Knowledgable, friendly owners. Also premium cigars! Don’t be put off by the as-​of-​today unfinished exterior. This is a neighborhood gem, in the rough.
