Charlar Place

Charlar Place is a life saver! When my brother lost his battle with terminal Cancer my family was a bit shocked to say the least and unprepared emotionally and financially as well. Not knowing where to hold the wake luncheon I called Charlar Place and spoke to the owner Shelly.
I had seen in the past that Charlar Place was involved in many community charities and support event so I thought she could recommend a place on such short notice (One day). She said that she had an event at her hall the morning of my brothers funeral but it would be available in the afternoon and she would schedule staff to help us out and gave me an amazing deal (to say the least!) on the whole event.
I’ve been in the food service and hospitality business a long time and I know how much criticism and pressure comes with it. It is at times like this that you can measure a businesses true character and dedication to what they do. Shelly and the entire Charlar Place staff stepped up above and beyond for me and my family in a troubling time and made one part of a tough situation much easier for us. Great job!
