My pancakes were great, hash browns and everything else was subpar. They were completely out of gravy for my girlfriend’s country fried steak. Our dessert– she got the maple bacon Sunday, I got the pancake puppies were both pretty gross. Waitress was very nice but was very inattentive. Wouldn’t go back.

I went to Denny’s because we were recommended a seasonal pancake they had. We get there the waitress sits us and everything we ask for she said«we don’t have that» you will think she offer any suggestions or at least say I’m sorry we no longer have that in our menu. No just plain«we don’t have that. So we left and went to IHOP and to my surprise the waitress we had remember my husbands favorite plate which by the way has been out of their menu for some time now. Did I mention this waitress only help us once a long time ago. That is customer service.

The food isn’t bad for a greasy spoon kind of place but every time I’ve ever been to this Denny’s it has smelled like a bathroom. Even when we are not anywhere near the bathroom. We just don’t go there anymore because we can’t stand the smell.

Gross food and crappy service. We went late on my friend’s bday and they told her she could have her meal free yet they still charged her full price for her crappy meal. Their eggs aren’t real. They are powdered eggs. Which is nasty. Don’t go here unless you’re drunk

Yeah, I get it… this is Denny’s. The name itself is pretty much synonymous with«low expectations.» However, even considering such… if your website lists a phone number, that usually means you have a PHONE and should answer said phone when people call with questions or(what an outrageous notion!) to place a takeout order. After calling nearly 30 times in 10 minutes, and having the line busy every single time(how many people could be calling at 10:00am???), I just walked in and said I wanted to place a takeout order. «It’s not up yet.» «No, you don’t understand — I want to PLACE a takeout order. I tried calling like 30 times and no one answered.» «Oh… yeah, we don’t have a phone. We can’t find it. We think someone threw it away.» …how the hell??? Once one of the employees FINALLY decided she was done texting or Instagramming or Facebooking or whatever menial crap Denny’s employees do to pass their time while trying to avoid real work, they then proceeded to all stand around RIGHTATTHEREGISTER, gossiping and carrying on with their complaints about some so-called«mother****er» — a co-worker? A mutual friend? The phone thief? Don’t know… don’t care… you work in customer service and thus, be careful with your language while in the presence of customers. This also applies to the woman who appeared to be the MANAGER, which I assessed based only on the difference in her uniform, and would have never been able to determine if I were judging solely by her actions or behavior. Kudos, however, to the young server with glasses(I think her name was Mary?) who bagged my order for me and made sure I had enough dipping sauces and condiments. She kept busy and moving with legitimate side work the entire time I was there, even while her co-workers just stood there chatting. Hopefully she can one day move on to a better place of employment where her work ethic is actually valued and appreciated, rather than just taken advantage of.

This was our first time at this location(we’ve been to others here in MA, FL and PR and they were excellent). It started fine, we were warmly received by the staff(someone was vacuuming). Our waitress Kristin was friendly and efficient(only reason for the two stars). However, the food was a disaster. We returned the soups(funny taste), the steaks were greasy and tasteless; every corn kernel was empty(yes, just the shell), mac n’ cheese looked like mashed potatoes. Had to go home and cook for everyone. Definitely not going back.

When I think of Denny’s restaurants I don’t usually think 5 stars, but after having breakfast here I am amazed with the service and food that we got here. Before shopping at the Holyoke mall we decided to pop in to grab some breakfast at this old run down Denny’s restaurant. When we walked in we were warmly greeted by the hostess who sat us at a booth and we were quickly met by our waitress Mary. Mary was incredible and took care of us the whole time that we were there. She had a great sense of humor which only added to our dining experience. When we ordered our food it came quickly, and overall it was pretty delicious for the money we spent on it. Overall, the food was good, the service was great, and we had no complaints regarding our stay. In the end we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back in the future.

This was our first time here and it was nice. Our waitress Liz was exceptional. She remembered our order without writing it down. Usually something is forgotten but she got it right. My only other comment is the place looked a little dreary. Other than that it was great.

A complete rat hole. Even wasted I’d rather go home and heat up a hot pocket then risk putting my stomach through the havoc it would receive the next day. I give restaurants one chance. The one time I ate there the tables were unwashed, seats were sticky. There was one waitress serving the entire place it seemed, and the food took forever because the cook was outside on his cell phone instead of at the grill. I wasn’t aware there was a way to screw up an order of cheese fries, but they succeeded. They were soggy and fried in old oil, and it seemed that I was completely irritating the waitress asking for refills or the for the ranch dressing the was supposed to come with the fries. To top it off I had a full bladder and the bathrooms weren’t even sutible for a truck stop so needless to say I had an uncomfortable ride home.

Unless I am completely blasted from a long night out, there is no way you would ever catch me in this place. The bathrooms are disgusting, the food and staff both look like they’ve been sitting under the heat lamp a little too long and the other customers look like they’re casing the joint.

Your typical 24⁄7 after hours spot for breakfast after a long night of obeying the states lame 2AM closing time rules. Not to be racists or negative but this appears to be a frequent afterhours hangout for Latino’s as judging by the near 100% spanish speaking clientele. We crossed here only recently after a night of trying Springfields nightlife. A member of our table ended up insulting the waitress and management staff. Despite this our food was great(if there was spit I couldn’t taste it) Denny’s takes 5 states for being open all night & not hauling us out to the streets because someone felt his«degree» meant he needed to be serviced ASAP!

My crew and I have frequented this place many times since grade school. Back in high school I recall a very spirited food fight taking place at Denny’s that involved one of the finest commercial actors in Hollywood now. As years passed this became the go to place for many post local hip hop show meals. It’s quite possible your favorite rapper enjoyed his«moons-over-my-hammy» in the booth you love by the window. Other great memories? Watching a drunk gentleman take a swing at a cop and then get the booze beat out of him. Oh and who could forget«BITCHYOUNEED A REMINDER???» Ahhh…good times. Not so good food. Not so clean bathroom. But where else am I to eat at 3am?

If you are in the market to drink & dine, this is the place in Hol-joke, why? Because everyone else is closed! Still, a Lumberjack Slam only taste better the higher your blood alcohol level is. On the drunken rating system I give this place, 5 stars! Sad to say I don’t see any goth kids hanging out there… In no way do I encourage you to drink & drive, please drink & dine responsibly.
