Highland Nonstop Cuts at 1375 Dwight Street in Holyoke. This was fun, a neighborhood drop in and they cut across many styles. Very friendly. Scissor cuts and buzz cuts. Great haircut, great hangout. I drove in off the road literally. Had a terrible experience just a ¼ mile away and remembered Holyoke has quite a few old-school haircutting place. This was a neighborhood hangout, probably recently opened though one could not tell from the amount of business. It felt like it had been here a decade already. It was primarily a Latino Barber shop but there’s scissors, buzzers, razors and people of all ages, friendly music, friendly people. All the men look satisfied, proud to be there. The haircutters were friendly with their customers. I got a great scissors cut. My only wish was that there was just a bit of clarity around how you say you need a cut and how they get to you at the sitting area. A barber identified that I’d been there about 20 minutes and set me up for a cut… don’t let the wait get to you – it’s a walk-in place if you wish. It’s a sign of great cutting to sit and see a full house. Wonderful – check it out.(oh $ 15 door to door cut)
