I’ve been to a few billiards places and this one is definitely the best I’ve been too. You have options for two different sizes of tables, 7ft and 9ft, and the sticks are straight. Other places you would have to look for a straight stick and its difficult find a decent one. Overall, this was a nice place went with bunch of friends and we all had a good time. If you want good to pristine tables and pool sticks in great condition this definitely the place to go.

I’m old enough to remember spending after school hours and Sundays at The Ivory Billiards when it was in the basement of the building across the street from the Victory Theater. Decades ago, when Paul Lucchesi Sr. moved«The Ivory» to the current location, I thought I wouldn’t like it as much. Now I’m 62 and love the joint more than ever. Great staff and the Lucchesi’s are still the go-to experts and professionals in the business. Now, if only I could get past the first round in one of the Tournaments!

i’ve tried most of the pool halls in the Pioneer Valley, and this is my vote for the best. best tables, best maintenance, best players. they have about 10 Brunswick 9′ tables with Simonis cloth, and keep them clean and level. they also have a bunch of coinop small tables, if you’re into that(i’m not). decent snacks, sound system a bit loud for my taste. $ 6/hour/table, open 11a-1a most days. one of the big attractions here is the calibre of the players: many good players; it’s the only room in the Valley where i haven’t been asked«what’s that you’re playing?» when i’m shooting straight pool. not the cheapest, but the best in every dimension.
