Stopped in for lunch. Ordered one of the many available lunch specials. Had a seat & waited the ten minutes, walked out with lunch. Good food, good service at a fair price. Small place, nothing fancy-located in older strip mall. I’ll be back soon…

1. the food here is very good. not what you expect on a carryout place. food has alot of flavor and they prepare their meat very well beef are tender and chicken is well breaded and all ingredients are fresh. what I like the best is the chicken corn soup, general tso’s chicken. and pretty much everything. im still working on trying everything on the menu. 2. the service is slow but the quality of food is worthy. warning dont come early to pick up your carryout order or you will wait 15−20mins more. 3. best chinese carryout in the area.

Amazing takeout ! Always pleased with egg rolls, fried rice, and beef Lo/chow mein. Generous portions. Consistent goodness. Order over the phone, man at register is a bit rude. «Oh you don’t have the right change?(Eye roll)» «are you sure you want to wait? There’s a wait.». I’m sure, I understand, your food is worth waiting for. Stale chow mein noodles, but they were very apologetic and we came back for rest ones.

The food is excellent but the customer service is terrible. They tell food will be ready in 30 min the you come to pick up and it is 15 to 20 min more, without apology or explanation more than one time. Keep coming because it is so close to my house

It was really good and cheaper than I expected. I ordered the General Tso Chicken combination. Can’t complain. It is better than the surrounding Chinese food restaurants. Service was a little slow, but I was told they were busy.

we got the general tao chicken, mongolian beef, shrimp fried rice, and egg rolls… this was hands down some of the best chinese food i’ve ever had this side of chicagoland. the GT chicken was soft, juicy, and exploded flavor. the beef was juicy and the fresh vegetables they cooked with it expanded the flavor of the ever-so tender beef. the egg rolls were the best i’ve ever had hands down. i tasted some sort of sweet spice in the roll… i’m sure it was ginger but it tasted more akin to cinnamon? either way, this place is great, cheap, and everything a chinese place should be. i have not gone into the store to sit down and eat yet, but i plan on making this a weekly place.

The best take out I’ve ever had. It’s similar to Chi Tung in Evergreen Park. Very inexpensive but great, fresh quality food. Highly recommend

Consistently good food. Unfortunately equally consistently bad service. The older woman and man are unpleasant and slow. The younger girl is better, but still has no clue on customer service. Chinese food shouldn’t be this difficult.

this place is amazing! they use fresh vegetables and are willing to cater to your needs. For example, we always ask that our egg drop soup is spicy — so they make it extra spicy for us. we also ask for lomein but in kung pau sauce and spicy and they make it delicious!

We just moved from downtown where there are some great choices. Out here there aren’t an abundance of options. Ordering on the phone was a breeze. Owner Bill is so nice it is refreshing. My family of men were not crazy about food. Beef fried rice and crab rangoon were great. Orange chicken was wayyyyy too orange tasting and had no veggies and instead orange chunks(this dish is typically a favorite here). Beef with peppers had too many large chunks of peppers and they were hard so tasted weird with soft beef(also lacked much flavor). Chicken satay was like rubber but taste was good(i know that sounds weird). If you are a lover of Chinese I would give this place a shot, but like any restaurant tell them how you like it and just give them some direction. Based on Bill’s great demeanor I bet he will be cool about it. When I was picking up food a young lady in restaurant was raving about her meal and egg rolls… so again may be worth trying.

We are trying to find a new chinese restaurant near our house and gave First Wok II a try after reading the reviews on Unilocal. We ordered over the phone and did carry out. We had a huge amount of food and the price was reasonable. A few of our items were somewhat bland. The pan fried noodles and the combination dish we ordered was really good — lots of tender meat, vegetables and juicy enough for my taste. The fried rice was decent but again lacked flavor. Their egg rolls were very good and the egg drop and won ton soups were delicious. We’ll probably give First Wok II at least one more try to see if we just came on an off night.

Top china food in area, hands down. The owner is kind person, and the food is even better. Non expensive, high quality.

Moved to the south subs after living in the city and didn’t think I’d ever find good Chinese food. First Wok II finally delivered. Great food! Love this place

On a whim I tried this because it was so close to my house. I ordered beef chop suey, General Tso’s chicken, and shrimp with mushrooms. One word: AMAZING! My boyfriend and I could not get enough of it. We ordered it again a few days later. Still AMAZING! We work the night shift at a hospital and one time after working all night, we came home around 8:30 in the morning and he stayed up until 11:00 a.m., waiting for them to open because he had a huge craving for their food. I would like to try different dishes because I know that they would all be just as delicious, but we keep ordering the same thing because it is just phenomenal to us!

We did this for dinner, carry out. I tried a number of different entrées. The General Tao Chicken was excellent. The chicken had a very flavorful coating. The Mongolian Beef was really tender and had great flavor. The only thing I didn’t find great were the egg rolls. They were just alright. I also had the Chicken and Peppers. Again it was really good, the chicken was tender with great flavor. I will be returning.
