This a family owned business with a lot of history. They are super friendly and very helpful in explaining the situation with your vehicle. I’ve been bringing my vehicles to Gonzales for over a year now for oil challenges and other issues and it’s just nice to go there to deal with people that appreciate customer relations and customers service and find competitive prices. AAMCO told me it’d cost over $ 2000 to fix my transmission, so I took my truck here. Turns out it was a faulty wire and I paid less than $ 200. I’ll take this place over AAMCO or a dealership any day of the week.

Similar experience as other reviewers. Took my 2002 Firebird in for a Brake pad replacement. Also asked to check my power steering for leakage. Came back, they did the brake job fine and all. But then tell me that the whole Power steering pump needed to be replaced as well as my rack and pinion.
All lies.
My rack and pinion are fine and after doing the check myself turn out to just be a $ 19 P/​S hose I needed to replace. Do not come here, especially for an estimate of any problem your unsure of.

I known them for 6 years and after what they did to my relatives truck as well as my Jetta. Never going back again. The owner is a complete *********** I don’t really recommend these so call «mechanics». They were just a waste of time! What a terrible job they did on my car, they did something else on it instead of what I ask for! I clearly told frank and he’s nephew. But I guess they want to do the things there way. The people (Frank, he’s brother, and nephew) have been so optimistic, rude, liars, and been tricking people about the «other damage» they have on their automobile ! Worst people ever!!! I highly recommend that you guys go back to school or wherever they taught automotive work and learn something good ! Instead of robbing innocent people, that’s not how you help people, or run a business. Don’t let friendly talks and smiles fool you people out there. GONZALEZ’S NOT WORTH MY TIME OR ANYONE ELSE THAT HAS EXPERIENCE THIS TRAGEDY. ! Think twice before going there.

The staff here starts out very friendly and all smiles but beware… I had the unfortunate experience of being charged for something that they obviously didn’t touch as it was in the same condition that I brought it in.
I brought the car back to SHOW them it was still broken. I didn’t want to give them another chance so I asked for my $ 28 back and we’ll call it a day.
First the owner lied and said it was not working at all when brought in, False. Then he accused me of stating the opposite of what I actually stated, False.
Then he offered to give me a partial refund, I had to argue with him to get a full refund…
