This place is a must if you’re ever in Homestead! I don’t speak Spanish, I can just pick up a word here and there, and the ladies behind the counter were very patient with my husband and me. He did use his language skills when possible. Customer service here is great for starters. I think it’s actually good we aren’t familiar with the food here. We did see empanadas so we had to grab 1 of each(ham and cheese, ham and chorizo, chicken, carnitas). Every single bite delicious. I’m not a chorizo fan so if it wasn’t for my husband I would not have even tried it. You cannot go wrong with any of the empanadas. Actually, you can’t go wrong with anything in the store. Upon walking in I saw the huge croissant sandwiches. I also ended up getting turnovers filled with guava and some type of unique cheese/cream cheese filling although it’s not fair to classify it as one or the other because it’s just so unique. Again, I think me being unfamiliar with the items added to the experience. The turnovers were amazing. It was such a tasty experience. Make sure to get one of their juices(they have guava, pineapple, mango and passion fruit). You can’t go wrong with that or any of their coffee(great prices too). I went for a Cubano coffee. I had never had one but it’s essentially a very very sweet espresso shot. Come here hungry and leave happy. Oh, they also take credit cards which is an added bonus. It’s a very popular spot with the locals because it was packed on a Sunday morning. Very tasty experience for early 2016!

Wonderful pastries and breakfast treats. It’s in a not so inviting center but bakery goods are worth the visit.

Great place for a quick and cheap priced breakfast. We come here on the weekends for some good café con leche and some croquettes. I take mine light with a little sugar and hubby likes his dark and no sugar. The women behind the counter are very friendly and since im not spanish their very patient with me as i ask questions about all the different edibles they have. You also have the options of bocaditos, empanadas, sandwiches, pastelitos, Cuban bread, and breakfast plates. There are also lunch and dinner specials. They also make special cakes in different flavors for all occasions. Great Cuban place with good prices and alot of options.

Went here for the first time today. What I ordered was good. My only suggestion that it would be better if there were tables with chairs to eat there. The current set up of the place only allows you to take the food with you and not able to eat it there. Will be back and eat there often if there were tables with chairs to eat there.
