This place is horrible, do not go there under any circumstances. I have seen on group on promotions under Dr. Cabrera’s name, I am a patient of Dr. Cabrera and I know for a fact that he does not work for them. They also promote two other locations, just a quick search on google showed me that the numbers people were promoting was not their real number and I was informed by them that they are not in any way associated with them. The police should get this place investigated, I would be surprised if anything they do is legal. I REPEATDONOTGOTHERE!!!

This review is for Homeland Health Spa. FIRSTIMPRESSIONS — We purchased a couple’s massage through groupon. It was a drive for us to get there, but we don’t mind driving if a place is worth it. The location has been recently renovated and painted, but didn’t looked finished yet. It looks nice and new and clean. It is located in the historic district of Homestead. Upon arriving for our appointment, the lady at the front desk said she did not have us in her system. I had written down the name of the person who booked the massage for us over the phone, and this lady said she didn’t work there anymore. So we just stood there, waiting for her to offer a solution to their mistake, but she didn’t, she only turned her computer screen so I could see that we weren’t on the schedule. I told her that was unfortunate, but not our fault. A man(perhaps the owner or manager) came in to see what the problem was, and proceeded to blame the ex-employee and then the system. He apologized for the issue, and assured us that he would get us taken care of right away. They offered for us to come in the next day, but we had taken the day off of work for a relaxing day and weren’t going to take another day off because of their mistake. The man was able to call another masseuse to come in, and after a short wait, we were able to get our couple’s massage. THEMASSAGE — Both masseuses came in, only one of them introduced herself, the other(a male masseuse) did not. They immediately got to work on us, without first asking what our preferences or requests were! I have had countless massages, in different places all over the world, and it was very strange and unconventional for them to just walk in and start rubbing! Shortly after beginning, my masseuse asked me if the pressure was ok… my boyfriend’s masseuse didn’t ask him ANYTHING. Throughout our massage, we could hear people talking outside the room and banging sounds coming from the other side of the wall — not very relaxing! My masseuse had very strong hands, but unfortunately there was little to no technique, no knowledge of pressure points on the body, and it was a shame because I felt she could be very good if she had more skills. My boyfriend said the same thing about his masseuse. They were not very thorough and it almost seemed like the male masseuse was imitating everything mine did. If only he had asked, he would have known that his client had different massage preferences and areas of focus. Speaking of areas of focus, when we checked in we filled out a form specifying what areas we wanted to focus on. I listed«thighs», because recent workouts have left me a little sore. My masseuse must not have read the form, since she hardly worked on my thighs. The room was very cold, and my hands and feet were freezing. I would not visit this place again. Although the owner/manager was very apologetic and quick to fix the problem, I felt that the masseuses don’t have the skills that a licensed, professional masseuse should have. Anyways, we left the spa smelling like fried chicken or doughnuts, from the oil that they used for our massage(?!?). Not an appealing fragrance to have all over your body, and it made me hungry.
