Miami-Dade Community College

All of the professors I’ve had so far are great, very helpful and caring. SOME of the staff I’ve come across are disgruntled and rude but that’s about it. (Mind you– a lot of helpers/​employees are also students.) Campus is always clean and so are classrooms/​bathrooms. They offer lots of clubs and programs to get involved in, just many people don’t because there isn’t a real college feel to it. A good starter, my AA is basically free so I can’t complain.

5 stars for the staff. Went into admissions to try and enroll. Was helped by Elizabeth. Very friendly and helpful and patient. Love love love

Don’t come to this campus if you’re a science major. You take weekly quizzes in their lab in addition to taking tests in the class. The quizzes re actually harder than the tests. The professors are still more than qualified but I prefer the kendall campus. Its a very tight place and limited parking.

The Good:
1. Affordable
2. Faculty (for the most part) actually cares about the students.
3. Helpful staff
The Bad:
1. Does not have a college atmosphere.
2. It is usually dead around campus.
3. Parking lot in the morning can be a nightmare.
4. The cafeteria is horrible. Everything is fried and costly.
I’ve been coming to this campus for over a year now. Most of the faculty and staff and I’ve encountered have been very polite and helpful. Teachers I’ve talked to actually care about the students and their progress. Something that cannot be said for every institution. However, I wish there was more of a college atmosphere on campus. People usually come, take their class, and leave the second classes are over. There’s not real hang out place for students to come together. There is a small game room which very few people use because it is a hassle to get into.
