In the middle of no where khrome ave a wild sushi chain restaurant appears. The same idea as Ra Sushi creating a lush energetc and bright red atmosphere. They have plenty of tvs playing a variety of todays music hits or sports. They keep the local spirit alive by incorporating it in the menu. They have sports team rolls and even a plantain and croquetta roll. For a chain the sake selection was decent. We had the Unfiltered sweet Aladdin. It is on the heavy but not too overpowering side for a sake with hints of banana and pear. The ceviche trio brought wahoo, octopus, and salmon. It was great after i paired it with an assortment of sauces they let you order on the side(Tip:Sauce Menu is at the end of menu). Had to try the UM roll it really looked great loved the play on the colors with the masago and avacado matching the um colors and I love spicy mayo. The salmon skin handroll was delicious the eel sauce was fantastic in complementing the salmon skin flavor. For desert the banana tempura(asian banana split) always wins my heart its just the contrasting heat and cold with the banana crunch and creamy ice cream who could resist? They also give complimentary cotton candy its good to see guest appreciation every now and then. For a relatively small location in comparsin to the similar Ra Sushi it does not show fear in being a contender. What they lack in size they make up with great food and service in this location. Their menu has something for every one weather you want to pinch a penny or be all out baller status. With crisp professional uniforms black pants, long sleeved pressed shirts, red ties and winning smiles they let you know they are in the sushi scene to stay.

While the food was good, the presentation left a lot to be desired. The cup with my tea had grease marks on it and the bowl with my miso soup had chips all over the edge. When I asked for another bowl, I was told that the bowls have chips because the dishwashers do not take care of them. Unacceptable!

Not a fan of the sushi or rices. There are many other places in Homestead with better quality sushi and rices

Ok here is my take on this Sushi Sake location. The food is not bad but with saying that the rest is not great either. The first time I came here I remember looking at the manager and thinking to myself does this guy even speak english? I am sure he wasn’t too worried because he was really busy playing around with the servers. Today there was a lady manager and she was definetly not any better. She came to drop off things several times and we said thank you each time as she would just walk away without saying a word. Our server was attentive but I couldn’t stop listening to her talking about getting her makeup done and other things very loudly by the sushi bar. Overall this place is whatever. I would only go back if in the area that’s it. Food taste decent especially the teriyaki sauce. Rolls are also decent. They need more menu selections and better staff.

Great service and the foood is delicious. I had the dragon roll, tempura bagel and the Marlin roll. They were very nicely done and came out at the right amount of time. The miso soup is really big and tasty. The manager is making sure everything is perfect. My new sushi place.

I really enjoyed the chicken teriyaki and special hibachi fried rice. To me it tastes just as good as Samurai. The banana Tempura and brownie tempura are excellent deserts. Didn’t have a long wait like Samurai and the food and service was great!

It was recommended by friends, first time trying it… a definite repeat! The service and staff were great and welcoming; the Dragon Rolls and fried rice — amazing! Cotton candy offered at the end, a nice touch. Looking forward to returning again! Jackie

Literally the best experience I have ever had at ANY sushi sake, and I’m from the city in Miami. This little rural sushi sake was a last minute stop right after I put gas before heading home, but the server, Samira, was extremely sweet and informative. I was the only one in the restaurant, probably because of how early it was. I told her I only ever got the Miami roll but that I didn’t know how much it cost. She said during happy hour it was $ 10 from $ 13. When I told her I only had $ 10, she told me she would cover whatever I got. Never have I had such excellent service. She offered me water and was extremely attentive. This whole staff and crew made it seem cozy and homely, laughing at the tv and all in an amazing attitude. It didn’t even feel like I was the only one there. They also give FREE cotton candy with every check??? I wish I had more money in order to tip her! I will DEFINITELY be back.

This place was recommended to us by family friends and we had the pleasure of finally having lunch here yesterday. Our server Ana was friendly and knowledgeable. She recommended the Vanessa roll. The ingredients from the fish to the vegetables were wonderfully fresh. My mother had the Miami Heat roll which was fabulous. I usually don’t go to many sushi spots because I don’t get full but I was stuffed after eating. Even still we ordered tempura ice cream. Omg! 2 huge slabs of fried ice cream on a gigantic plate. We were blown away. Love this place and we are thinking of having my birthday dinner here!

they seem to have gotten it together a bit more. the service isn’t perfect but they are definitely more on point and timely. i haven’t been mopped around the last 2 times i ate there. The music has been turned down so you don’t feel like you’re at a club. they also added cotton candy when they bring you the bill which is awesome.

I’ve visited several locations but hadn’t visited this one in the Redlands yet so decided to give it a try. At arrival my party of 3 had to wait to be seated, there were tables available but had food on them from previous guest. Felt they prepare tables as guest arrives. Food was not great. Some of the rolls were rolled into a sloppy mushy roll.

Nice people but not the best sushi. A bit overpriced for the amount of food they serve you. Near my house but I’d rather go to another sushi place further away. I wish it was better I could almost walk there(but I wouldn’t). I’ve tried one of their other locations and I was not impressed –__– neither was my wife ~_~ We can not recommend this place. –__– ~_~

The food and service is excellent we’ve eaten there a few times and I’m thankful they also deliver. Our favorite roll is the yummy! And it’s yummy. I’m so happy they opened a sushi place out here in the Redlands!

Mediocre food. Shady ownership. Outrageous prices. Upscale sushi parked next to a gas station? Tried it. Won’t return.

This place is next to a gas station in the middle of the Krome avenue, at farmlands. You would never think, that you can have a fresh sophisticated sushi here. Many Take-outs, we counted about 10 – 15 while we were sitting(5PM). They serve Sushi Boats for larger parties. If you are nearby, do not hesitate, sop by and enjoy.

I was hesitant to come here because of all the negative reviews but I’m glad I did not listen! The Steamed Gyoza was a delicious appetizer. Then we got a Yummy Roll and the Ramen Soup. They were both fantastic and for the first time I drank the soup of the ramen! But wait, there’s more! After we finished we got the check and an extra surprise… Free cotton candy! It was a delightful little treat and a very nice surprise. Our waitress was super friendly and checked on us just the right amount of times. This place hasn’t had a recent review so I made sure to include everything. I highly recommend this place! Try not to listen to the past reviews because they are severely out dated.

Alisa K. is so right! The staff is clueless and I did not enjoy the food nor drinks at all! Anyone that knows me well knows that I frequent Sushi Lico because the food and sushi has flavor. Sushi Sake does not to me at all. This is the 2nd time I tried giving them a try and I’m so disappointed. First, I ordered plum wine and my hubby a margarita. My husband specifically told the waitress he wanted the margarita that was advertised on the drink special menu which was a margarita on the rocks. She brought him a frozen margarita and then tried to say it’s not much ice it’s only at the top(side eyed this heffa). I’m looking like FOH are you kidding?! Before I actually said that I was like look honey, I’m an ex alcoholic. Lol. That’s a frozen drink if it’s slushed. He specifically asked for what is advertised which is on the rocks so please tell me if that looks like the one on the menu. I didn’t want to get like that with her but she was pretty rude because she messed up the order. Bish, that ain’t my problem just get it right! My husband didn’t like it still anyway because they used the premixed(I’m a drinker and smelled it and tasted it off rip) and did not add anything to it so therefore it was not great. Then, my wine glass was not even clean! It still had food from the last drinker as well as the their lip prints. At this point I’m disgusted. I had to flag another waiter down because our waitress never checked on us like she was supposed to. But he even was an idiot because when I brought it to his attention and told him that the glass is filthy he asked me «so those aren’t your lip prints»? Bish, didn’t I just tell u that there are lip prints and food stains that aren’t even mine? Like wtf yo?! My Bobby Salad was not that great. Made me mad I didn’t take the extra drive to sushi Lico to have my Tuna Avocado Tata. I was trying this place out being is much closer to me and I try and support local stuff but man forget it. They will not ever get service from me again! So sad that it could be a great place but service and food is not great.
