This IS New York pizza. Great crust! Ample toppings. And an owner who is really truly from New York City. This was our lucky find on a recent golf trip to World Woods. Make it your go-to pizza joint also!

We were drving through Homosassa and needed dinner. We hate chains and avoid fast food. We found this great place in the corner of a strip mall. All the things you need in a local Italian place were there. Good pizza. Good eggplant parm. Good sauce. Great service. Will go there again.

An unassuming spot in a local strip mall that serves up great thin crust pizza! The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce topping very flavorful, and the toppings fresh! Can heartily recommend this pizza with gusto!

We were in town for a soccer game and the rating for this place looked pretty good… Maybe it was an off day here but I was not overly impressed. As mentioned in other reviews, the décor here is not meant to be hip. Straight from the 70s/80s and no updates, but that give it character and suggests it been there and was successful for a long time. Service was generally okay… our server was pleasant and did stop back periodically. We ordered cheese sticks and garlic knots to start off. The cheese sticks were flavorless and still cool in the middle. The knots were okay, but zi have certainly had better. My wife had a meatball sub that was pretty tasty. It could have used some more sauce but the flavor was good. I ordered the meaty thick crust slice. I should have known better since every in the place was having thin crust. I love thin crust but they only had meat pizza in the thick stuff. This overly doughy pie had no real flavor. It definitely needed more sauce and cheese, but the cheese that was on it was not completely melted. Maybe the thin crust is great here… I suggest they offer more topping choices in that style.

Came up to visit my mom and was jonesing for some pizza. Homosassa isn’t exactly a major metropolitan city, so I had my expectation-meter set to anything-better-than-Domino’s. and, I getting the pizza as take-out. Place was humping. Good sign. Friendly service, ok, so good so far. Hold that thought, because I have to say I’m a bit biased towards the people of Homosassa and surrounding areas. SO much nicer than south Florida. So when I say friendly service, it could simply be a fortunate byproduct of the area. I’ll take it regardless. General rule of thumb, pizza is better eaten right as it comes out the oven, so how it tastes when you drive back can be a barometer of how good it is. Ahhh, good news, the pizza was way better than I had anticipated. Got to my mom’s place and the crust was still crispy! Crust nicely golden, clean sauce not over flavored, fresh mushrooms, didn’t scrimp on the spinach, and the cheese actually had flavor. What a pleasant surprise! Would I go back? Hell yes! So now, when I’m up visiting my mom, I now have a go-to place I can count on for tasty pizza. Now, if I could just get some of that Homosassa Hospitality for take out I’d bring it down here and sprinkle it around like fairy dust!

First time I was here I tried the Sicilian Pizza which was very good. Was just here an hour ago at their other establishment and tried the Gnocchi which reminded me of New York’s version… The Pasta E Fagiold was like my grandmothers…

We had a calzone, penne vodka, fettuccine Alfredo and ravioli. No pizza. Calzone and Alfredo were spot on. Great quality for a pizza restaurant. Penne vodka was a bit too saucy and ravioli seemed like typical frozen. Pizza looked real good. Recommended.

It’s not NY pizza but it’s very close. The service is great everyone is friendly. A lot of Bucs pictures and autographs. One of the best pizza spots I have been to in florida. They have very good wings and decent food also. I try to stop in every time I’m in the area.
