How parsimonious is Walmart ? We just left Walmart in Homosassa swearing never to return Apparently, it is all ’ self check out’ during the late night hours. It took me roughly 15 minutes to check out. There were 5 customers, including myself attempting to check out. We all encountered significant delays and problems. The clerk on Duty could not have been more pleasant and professional. She did everything she could to help, including bagging groceries to help. The system is what sucks. One elderly man left his cart full of groceries and left in disgust. Obviously, Walmart Inc. believes it is more beneficial to forsake customer service for profits. We will be shopping at Target and Publix in the future.
