Laurel’s is a great home cooked atmosphere diner. The breakfast dishes are HUGE and fantastic. Luncheon sandwiches are stuffed full and her home-made soups are great! Although the building is older it is a great place to have a wonderful meal. Others that have posted here that McDonald’s is better knows nothing about food! It’s worth your time and money to have a meal at Laurel’s and decide for yourself.

Very busy on Sunday. One waitress but she is doing a great job. Foods are always in huge proportions!

Mediocre food, mediocre services undercooked food dirty dishes tables not wiped down before setting up. I would have been better throwing my money out the window. Even my 83 yr grandmother said we should have gone to McDonald’s. Only thing decent was the portions but hey a big pile of crap is still crap

I always try to have at least one breakfast whenever I am in the area. The slammer with sweet potato pancakes is what I live for. The service is fine and Laurel is an excellent cook. Weekdays are better than weekends for service.

Big portions doesn’t do this place justice. This place serves 12 egg omelettes… I had an egg white omelette, normal size but still couldn’t finish it. It came with a whopping serving of undercooked hasbrowns(didn’t finish that either). I wasn’t aware of the portion size so I ordered a side of Kielbasa(didn’t finish that either. They gave me an entire LARGELINK)!!! The dish also came with 2 slices of toast(finished that)! The food is really 2 stars but the waitress was really nice and I liked the staff there. I’m sure I’ll be back and to try other dishes.

The servings here are out of this world. Unlike the small town the restaurant lives in the plates/servings are the size of NYC! Test your capacity for a large serving with the 12 egg polish omelett or the short stack which is two pancakes the size of a plate. Hate to see the large stack!
