Alaka’i Na Keiki sounds like a great place to get experience! Many of the Psy.D.s who are part of the group started as skills trainers with the company. The owners are highly experienced psychologists with impressive experience in the local educational community. If you are an undergraduate hoping to help children with special needs and just need part-​time employment, give them a call!

These two psychologists hire therapists on as independent ‘employees’ but work them like independent contractors to get away with not paying them benefits and collecting the therapists’ money FOR themselves. They treat their office staff and those auditing the money and therapy hours like gold, and treat clinicians like slaves/​dogs. They are always suspicious of therapists and work the good ones to the bone. Their ethics are in protecting themselves, not the clinicians. There is no moral or ethic code with this married couple (made up of two psychologists who run this place). IF there is a problem they get suspicious of the person that reports the problem, and will abandon any therapist to protect themselves. It’s all about the $$$$ for them. NEVER WORK FOR THESE CREEPS!!!
