This karaōke place is great. We just through a party here last night and everyone had a blast. They have a strict policy when it comes to alcohol though. But it’s just for the best for everyone. The two girl workers were pretty chill and actually were pretty friendly and helped us clean out our room. You can bring in food but be sure to clean up after yourselves. Also they have a new room in there which we rented where they have tvs, disco light and speaker to play our own music and they dart board machine. And of course can’t forget about their wide selection in music for the karaōke machine. The whole place is ac and it’s really cold but if your drinking then it won’t matter. they have tables set up and have extra round ones If needed. They have have chairs inside along the walls and extra seats needed they have on the side. Overall everyone had a wonderful time.

Despite negative reviews of this establishment, I decided to give this place a chance after talking to one of the girls that worked there. Risky made me feel at ease and I trusted her. I planned an outing there for my girlfriends birthday. We had the bonus room. Boy did we have fun. We had 2 large screen TV’s. One for Karaōke and one for Sports Center. They also had a dart board which was a plus. They have current and up to date songs. Room was large, spacious, and clean. They have rules just like all the other establishments, but main thing you follow them… everything will be fine. I plan on coming back again. Thank you Risky for your help. If you want to go to someplace different that is cleaner than the rest, more spacious than the rest, with the largest and up to date song book… check out Alley Katz Karaōke!

The rooms are great! Prices are decent for a byob and byof place. It’s always cheaper when you can bring your own alcohol. We had the large room which fits about 40 people comfortably. The room is a U shape and there are tables that are provided. They also have ice available. The songs are pretty up to date and the sound is good. Apparently they have another room that is the same price with disco lights and a dart board so I would recommend that room for sure. However they are EXTREMELY strict about EVERYTHING. I wouldn’t recommend trying anything there. They will find any reason to keep your $ 100 deposit. I’ve heard a ton of stories. I wouldn’t recommend even trying to sneak alcohol to anyone underage. I actually wouldn’t even recommend anyone underage being in the room with alcohol. And you have to clean everything before your ending time. They do provide one free hour if it’s your birthday that day. So for three hours it came out to $ 180. They make you pay for the room upon arrival so I suggest collecting the money previously. And everyone needs to leave the premises including the parking lot within 5 – 10 minutes after the ending time otherwise they’ll keep your deposit. It’s hard to get 30 people to leave after having a good time. The staff are okay. I would agree with the other reviews about them hating their jobs and how they don’t smile. I mean I guess I don’t blame them considering they’ve probably ran into a lot of problems. It seems like the owners are extremely hard on them. One of the two ladies was nice however the other made comments like«they really shouldn’t get their deposit back».

WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER!!! Id give them zero stars if that was an option. The girls that work there are so incredibly RUDE! Not even a smile or a Thank you. They all look like they hate their job. I will definitely not be returning, you get what you pay for! the nicest person there was the security guard outside who was very respectful when enforcing the rules, unlike the workers inside. I WOULDSUGGESTANYWHEREBUTHERE!!! The only good thing about this place is it’s BYOB but there’s plenty of other BYOB places out there wish I booked a different one. Never met more miserable unpleasant staff in my life! I could go on and on about the extremely crappy service but I’ll just stop here and advise to find a different place!

Would not recommend to anyone!!! They find every reason to keep your deposit even though the reasons they come up with is not on the agreement you sign! The ladies come to work prepared to be rude, take your deposit and end you party early. Experienced it 3 times! DONOTGOHERE! They will ruin your celebration!

ladies working here are the WORST. no class whatsoever. they don’t return your 100 dollar deposit like they say they would. they’re rude and they consistently interrupt your party. They don’t abide by their own rules on their own contract! says she’ll return your 100 back if you clean up, SHEKEPTITANYWAYANDSTILLMADEUSCLEANUPOTHERWISESHEWOULDN’T RETURNMYIDANDCARDUSEDTOPAYFORTHEROOM. Poor customer service from the moment we walked in. She wasn’t very kind and welcoming at all.

I would normally rank them a 4 star but today it is a 1star! SUCH A FAIL Okay so, I wanted to make a reservation today since the web site says they are open at 5pm… I get a call back with the response sorry we only open for reservations… Okay. So I guess they don’t want my reservation ugh. I really love this place but this is the part I hate. Don’t know how u run a business like this… I guess I have to wait for air park karaōke to open at 6…

Hey, what’s the deal? Is this place closed for good? I wanted to book a room recently but after repeated calls no one picked up and no one returned my message. I went there before and my experience was nice enough. But if they don’t want to pick up their phone and don’t want my business then I’ll gladly go somewhere else.

Byob! And byof! But they also have non-alcoholics for purchase Their website pretty much gives all the info you need. All you gotta do is call, reserve and put your cash deposit down of $ 100.00 which you get back after the room is inspected. We came here with co-workers and it ended up being a great time! The shy were not so shy anymore once that mic was in their hand! The staff was very nice, the room was clean and decorative, song selection was awesome!!! Their binders are categorized by Artist or Title of song. So easy to find something to sing. The bathroom was clean too! Clean bathrooms are a huge plus in any establishment… a lot of these karaōke places I’ve been to had dirty bathrooms. Alley Katz gets two thumbs up from me! The only downfall I had about this place is… could they just change the ugly video’s in the back of the songs? lol! We were there about 4 hours and I swear the same women in the videos were playing over and over and over again… I guess it didn’t matter too much, but it did get a little distracting in the end. I’ll definitely plan another karaōke night here again!

Service was indescribable bad. We will never go back. Birthday celebration gone bad. Staff had an admittedly not friendly dog off-leash(which was owned by a staff member) and said my friends were loitering when taking a smoke break and did some deposit shenanigans that was irresponsible and irresponsible

I’ve been coming here for alot of my friends party & so far I’ve had the worst time there. first of all there worker were snobby & unfair to us then other party’s.everytime we go there, those ladies ALWAYS finds a way to make us lose our deposit which is $ 100.there reasons are ridiculous. they always assume that everyone who comes in smelling like weed/underage drinker are at our party, they also assume that we had under age drinker when they had no proof of that. the most UNFAIR part was when we seen these group of guys coming out at 12:45 drinking there beer & gave them there whole deposit back. i feel that those ladies favor people who goes there… MAINLYGUYS. there was another time we lost our deposit & we tried making one of our guy friends sweet talk her & she gave back atleast $ 50.like if this place has that kind of service. i would hire people whose fair to EVERYONE. the place is really good BUT really unfair & rude workers.

This was my very first karaōke room experience and it was nice very clean, updated song list and the staff were friendly full of the Aloha spirit I love that about Hawaii people going the extra mile to make you happy, very hospitable. It was fun, I will for sure plan a party there again in the future.

Came here twice — once for a company Christmas party & the second time with a friend’s family. I like how roomy the place was, and the sound system was better than a lot of other karaōke places I’ve been too. What I enjoyed most is their song selection. Very up to date and very enjoyable.

Came here for a company party and I wanted to say it was alright. Keep reading. Highlights: –huge room(not sure what the price was though because I didn’t host it) –room seemed soundproof, or maybe the music outside was loud enough to drown out the music from the rooms –can bring your own food/drinks –bathrooms were relatively clean and close by However, there were some MAJOR disappointments: –NO Asian music, which was misleading because they were playing tons of K-pop outside –floor was super sticky… –the lyrics were hard to see because the TV was old and the lyrics were overlapping on each other. The screen appears to be burning out in some areas. –they DON’T WARN you before your time is up, like other places I’ve been to. And to top it all off, they DON’T give you your deposit back even if you go a minute over. For this last reason alone, my whole party and I will NOT be coming back here. It’s the holiday season for crying out loud, and we were ready to leave but just because we didn’t by a MINUTE or so, they kept the deposit. Not very customer-service oriented if you ask me. We were treated so rudely, and the other«highlights» didn’t make up for their disappointments and horrible customer service. I only give 2 stars because they weren’t all-around horrible, and had a few good points. I will be going to GS Karaōke instead from now on.

Came here for my Husbands friend’s suprise birthday party. First time here. The décor of the room we went in was very nice. Graffiti art of a city and cats :) The room was very big and seated all the people that showed up. It wasn’t crowded to the point where it was packed. Not a big fan of Karaōke, but its a nice place.

This was a delightful surprise. At first my friends and I had no idea where this place was nor had we heard of it. It’s in Kalihi towards farrington highschool. It’s located up on the 2nd floor of a two story building facing an open parking lot. When we got I could instantly smell something fresh. An air freshener probably. The staff were friendly and seemed family oriented. Each room is named something instead of just room numbers like other karaōke places. And inside was decorated appropriately. We were in the masquerade room and the room had masks on the walls and for people to wear. It was also painted with glittery swirls and had glow in the dark stickers on the ceiling! I liked the ambiance and that the staff took karaōke rooms one step further in creating a fun environment for people. Another thing I liked about our room was that there were TWO tvs for karaōke singing. This helped a lot when everyone was singing along and some people were standing or dancing in front of the tvs, all we had to do was look at the 2nd tv!!! And most importantly, they had NEW songs to sing! They had a 2nd binder with songs up to May, which I thought was neat and something I haven’t seen before. From their website I believe they started selling snacks too. Even better =) cuz it looks like there aren’t too many stores close by this location. The rooms are a bit pricey per hour, but I think they have specials sometimes. All in all, i really enjoyed this karaōke place and so did my friends. I’d absolutely come back here for another birthday celebration to sing our hearts out =) #Yelp 365 challenge– 34⁄365

Wow. Nobody has reviewed this place yet?! Shocking. Considering the amount of Filipinos in Hawaii and where it’s located(Kalihi, where lots of Filipinos live). Although Kalihi is not nearly as populated with Filipinos as Waipahu, I still consider it balut central. Not sure what that is? Watch Andrew Zimmers Bizarre Food show or Fear Factor. Anyways, I always say, wherever there’s a magic mic, there’s a Jasmine Trias waiting to tear it up with her vocals. I can’t sing, but I sure can perform. So I’ve been here twice. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell of vanilla potpouri mixed in with stripper perfume. Strange. But yea, First for an 80s Karaōke birthday bash, second for a friends work promotion. Both times we had the big room right passed the front counter, turn right, last door on the left. The room is big, their TV screen was big, the sound system had bass, and there was plenty of seating… but who needs seats when Guns n Roses is playing and all you want to do is head bang. But most importantly, they had a remote control for entering songs(unlike Karaōke Hut where they don’t believe in technology so songs are entered via pencil, scrap paper and intruding Karaōke Hut employee). I’ve been to Karaōke Room 2, that one in Waikiki next to Mooses, Karaōke Hut, Krazy Karaōke, and Tomas so I can honestly say, Alley Katz has best song selections. Anything that came to mind, they had both by song title and/or artist. Wrecks n Effects rump shaker, check.
