OMG! I’ve never taken ballroom lessons before so I honestly can’t compare this studio with any other studio on the island. The studio is beautiful, appealing and looks very professional. I started taking group lessons then eventually private lessons. Owner and dance instructor Lucas is very patient and passionate about dance. I would recommend this dance studio to anyone who wants to learn ballroom dancing for fun, to compete or stay fit. It can be overwhelming at first. Don’t give up because you’ll eventually build confidence and feel a sense of accomplishment and happiness.

l am very happy for my Professional Ballroom teachers «Yanna & Lucas» to open a fabulous dance studio. It is the BEST, HUGE, COMFORTABLE & CLEAN dance studio in Honolulu. I feel great while I am taking lesson there. They offer private & a lot of group techniques classes for all ages. l love the classes, it helps me improving my dance steps & posture a lot. I feel wonderful after every single lesson. They host social dance party there, a couple time per month. Please phone them for further information.

Aloha dancesport is a great school for all types of social dancing. Lucas is the owner and he teaches ballroom, salsa, latin, and swing. Aloha dancesport has numerous teachers offering group and private classes. I go to Lucas’ ballroom class and his salsa /​merengue class. Lucas was trained in New York City and we are lucky to have a teacher of his caliber here in Honolulu. I also go to Samir’s Salsa class. Samir is very organized in his approach to teaching salsa. He breaks down the steps in a logical manner which is what I need when learning salsa. He is an excellent teacher and a kind person. When I see him out at the clubs, he is very encouraging and he offers good tips. If you are looking for any type of social dancing then Aloha dancesport is a great place to go. They have a new dance studio. One grand ballroom and a second dance room.

This is not only a beautiful facility with a dance floor designed especially to absorb the impact on joints, etc. for the dancer, (you’ll not find that any other place here in HNL), but it is owned by two top professional dancers who know how to bring the best out of their students! So, if you love to dance, and want to learn correct technique and have fun while learning, this is the dance center for you! We are very fortunate to have Lucas and Yanna here in Honolulu, come and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!
