I’ve always liked this place. Fast and cheap. But over the years it appears to have declined in quality. If you order anything other than the Hand Rolls, you are asking to be disappointed(Party Platters are ok). The workers are really nice though, I feel as though business is diminishing especially since Walgreen’s is slowly pushing these small businesses out. I’ll still go here for the Hand Rolls, but Honu Sushi is the place to go for specialty rolls.

7.99 for the spicy nigiri bowl. Its not worth the price Only had ½ bowl with everything in it… If u want to be cheap on the ingredient at lease kinda fill the bowl with rice … Smallest bowl I had for this price…

Rice snob reporting that this establishment serves dry rice with no su or discerning flavor. The rice was fresh and slightly warm but not flavorable, even with the toppings. Earlier, I swore that I would never go here again but my little nephew was begging for sushi when we drove by. It took forever!!! And the air conditioner accommodates only those who sit directly beneath it’s draft. The others can crisp in hell, I guess. The prices were high. The toppings(especially ikura) was a loose splat of salmon eggs that nowhere, nohow, covered the rice. I was stunned at the scant toppings. This is sushi, right? Not nori rice that someone accidentally spilled a bit of garnish on. Fish was fishy. Bacon maki was so sparse with bacon I had to open one up to find out if there really was bacon in it. Hardly any. The cost of a few drinks was as much as the sushi. Little nephew giddy with delight. Hasn’t had time to develop any taste buds, methinks. Nephew in the car again? Drive on a parallel street or gas it to Kozo’s.

Natto roll — smallest amount of natto I’ve ever had in a roll. Fast service. Would gladly pay double for more… if someone orders natto, you know they want it…

Okay, so I think their udon is pretty decent. And to add a shrimp tempura is only $.50? Cool! However, got the dragon temaki and the unagi had a really fishy taste. Will not be doing that again.

My latest experience at Aloha Sushi wasn’t a very good one. Stopped by for a quick bite and was fairly disappointed. A couple pieces of fish in my lunch bento was dried out. There was BARELY any salmon in the Philly maki. It was 98% rice. Pathetic pieces of shrimp in the ebi roll. No T. It gets pretty warm inside, so it’s not a really comfortable place to eat. Their prices are inexpensive, I suppose, but still not worth it.

It’s a little dive of a restaurant close to my work with quick fresh sushi. I always stop here when I’m on lunch, and on a time crunch. The service is really fast, and it’s cheap! I know cheap and sushi don’t go well together, but I like what they offer. It’s not the best sushi I’ve ever had, by far. But, it’s good enought to keep me coming back. There’s not much to look at, 2 tables and a counter. I come here for the convenience, FREE parking and hardly ever a wait.

For quick take-out sushi, this place is great. The workers at this Aloha Sushi are very quick and nice. You can call in and have a party platter ready in less than 30 mins! I called in an order the other day while I was driving(don’t tell) and picked it up on the way home. Fast-food sushi! Can’t say that this is the best sushi I’ve eaten, but the presentation is nice and it’s very reasonable. The party platters are between $ 20 — $ 30. It’s good when you don’t feel like cooking and I’ve also given these away during the holidays to relatives.
