Is this place even still open? Well, I’ve only been here a few times to get a planner and see what cute stuff they have. The Korean lady, I’m assuming was the owner kept following me around as I hear they do to a lot of people. It made me feel really uncomfortable and not wanting to shop here. I couldn’t even look at anything without here commenting on it.

Although I ended up making a purchase, I felt uncomfortable. I was the only customer in the store at the time. The lady working there was nice but kept following my every move. I’m not sure if it was for anti-theft or to secure a sale. I’ll probably return when I need a new planner but not to just browse.

Cute little store I had stumbled upon while looking for the artsy store with a Paul Frank monkey in the window. I wasn’t familiar with Art Box stationery, but I most certainly am now! There were so many cute things, I couldn’t resist. Purchased a present for a friend and one for myself. The staff was reserved, but polite. It almost felt like an art gallery walking in there, and I hated to intrude, but everything was so adorable. Prices weren’t terrible for stationery items, but some prices were a bit much on bags or wallet-sized pouches.

when i saw there was an art box here i practically squealed like a little girl. i fell in love with artbox at the coex mall in korea and spent hundreds there. i was afraid to walk into this one. luckily this store was tiny compared to the one in korea and and saw a bunch of things i already had. the girl working helped me find a few pens. they have a sign that says no writing and they didnt have the pads out like they do at japantown in SF so she brought a pad for me to try out some pens. she saw that i like pink so she showed me a few i might like. how sweet! each pen was $ 3.99 that i bought. a bit pricey but i was still in shock there was an art box that i didnt care. i bought a panda cord organizer thingy and a sticker that made the pook LOL literally. i shall post the pics soon. i got a few new sticky pads and called it a night. love love love art box

First off I was so excited to go to an Artbox! Thier prices are really high for this type of stuff, but it’s imported so no surprise there. The cashier working there though was always within an arm’s length, I guess making sure we didn’t steal any cute stuffed bunnies. I found that to extremely annoying, invest in some security cameras. I ended up buying 3 packages of letter sets and some other over priced items.

I can’t believe how much money I spent here on pens… There were new colors that I just HAD to have.

It’s not an art supply store, but they are forgiven because they’re not Hallmark, either! It’s filled with cute things for kids and organized adults. I stocked up on notepads for teacher gifts. Oh, and you can be assured it’s clean. As we left, the proprietor was down on his hands and knees wiping off the scuff marks from the white-ish tiled floors. I’ll walk more carefully the next time I’m in there. I am sure one of those scuffs was mine.
