Awakuni Family Chiropractic

Dr. Awakuni is the fourth chiropractor I’ve seen in the last several years. The first three left me with the conclusion that chiropratics is not for me, no real benefit. I went to Awakuni at the recommendation of physical therapist who also sees him occasionally. He is fantastic. Adding him to my my therapeutic regimen gave me significant break-​through on a chronic problem that has been with me for 15 years and had been progressively worsening. He is extremely knowledgeable and competent and brings great respect to his discipline!

Like all the other reviews state, dr. Awakuni is the best. Been to a couple others during the past couple years because they were closer to my workplace, but none seem as knowledgable and friendly as the staff at Awakuni’s. I therefore keep coming back even if it is further away. I always hear other chiropractors’ commercials on the radio, but all they do is remind me to schedule an appointment with dr. Awakuni. Lol. I’ve referred a few friends n family and they all agree, dr. Awakuni and Lisa are awesome.

This place is great! I was recommended by my sports med doctor about 3 or 4 years ago and I’ve never left! Lisa at the front desk is very helpful and always willing to help. Steve is the man tho! He can pinpoint everything wrong with you and tries to fix them all! He’s very knowledgeable at his practice and knows what he’s doing! What I really like is that they take X-​rays and show you visually what’s happening to your body! I always leave relaxed and rejuvenated… I’m never gonna leave!

This doc has got skills! The best of 5 Chiro’s I’ve tried. He is the most thorough, and attentive. And his prices are most reasonable. I sense that he truly has the heart to help people and it shows in the results of his work.

Doc is THE best! I was referred to him by my crossfit coach who has been going to him for years. He could pin point my symptoms, why I had them, and how to correct them. I’ve been to chiropractors before and never got adjusted the way Dr. A adjusted me. Just amazing! And he made me feel comfortable, told me what to expect as we went through each adjustment, made sure there was no pain or discomfort…
Awesome and knowledgable in his practice!

I was recommended to Dr. A by my brother, who went because of an injury resulting from a car accident. I went because of loss of strength to my right side and some lower back pain. Dr. A did a consult and took some xrays. When I returned to review the xrays, he discussed a treatment plan and schedule, as well as a payment plan, and adjusted me. I felt immediate relief! He also provided some literature about chiropractic in general. During the course of my treatment he also recommended some exercises to strengthen different muscle groups that would aid in keeping my spine straight.
Since then, my daughter has developed migraines which, after seeing several doctors (pediatrician, neurologist, dentist, ophthamologist), could not seem to be treated. At the suggestion of the neurologist I took her to see Dr. A. He found the source of the migraines and within several months migraines that she had been suffering from for 6 months had subsided completely! He also gave her some stretches to do when she felt her headaches coming on. What more can you ask for?
