I arrived to Dr. Bello’s office and found the office a messy and the seats appeared dirty. I figured, well this is what I get for having HMO medical insurance. Its okay. I just really wanted to get a referral and the only way to get it was to see a primary care physician. I looked her up on HMSA website and thought she looked reputable. As soon as she entered the room her immediate introduction basically said she was really busy and had a lot of patients. From then on the interaction went downhill. I found her condescending. She made me feel dumb for even seeing her and asking for a referral. She asked questions that did not even relate to why I was there, a bit inappropriate. She ended up giving me the referral with reluctance. As a Queen’s employee I was appalled with her service when I left. She may be smart but she doesn’t need to be rude and condescending.
