Came here due to the fact that Unilocalers rave so highly about this place, and let me tell you! This place is as great as you guys make it seem. I’m starting a business and needed shirts that had our logo printed on them. Alden helped me with the logo placement, color and answered any questions I had. The whole process was painless and I learned a few things along the way. I’ll be coming back to print out more shirts

Fantastic! I called to get kickball shirts customized and the couple of different guys whom I spoke with were great. They fit us in, with a fast turn around time and didn’t charge extra. The were gems about helping me find a font that worked – they double checked with me about a few things to make sure we were on the same page.
They’re seriously so friendly; our shirts look great; and they were fast and very reasonably priced. I will definitely go back and would highly recommend.

I love this place. Here’s why… if you want to customize your own shirts, this is one of the only places in town that you can actually get it on a non 100% cotton Tee. That opens the doors up to buying your own vintage type of shirts, American Apparel, etc. without having to buy the distributors shirts or buying those thick, hot 100% cotton shirts. The turn around time is pretty good. If they aren’t busy with orders, they might be able to get it to you that day (rare) but otherwise, a few days.
Also like the fact that the graphics they provide are pretty hip but I try to always go with my own versions. This place is a great choice if you want to personalize your own shirt, or personalize a gift. It’s worth taking a trip here to downtown.
The only downside which I refer to it as a plus, is it always smells like pizza because it’s next to JJ Dolan’s. So you’re going to get hungry in there…

I bought a lot of my Christmas gifts for my family and friends at Blank Canvas. I wanted unique gifts that matches each person’s interest. I was able to get fun prints on shirts that came in different sizes and color. I even made a couple shirts for babies!
Most of the time the turn around time was a few hours or the next day. They called me when it was done and ready for pick up. Love it, so easy to work with and fun to give.

I can’t say enough positive things about this place. Caleb and the other staff have worked with me on a variety of printing needs, from a large rush for a celebration of life to a much needed Christmas present today. They are always so helpful, excellent with their communication, and always, always produce quality shirts. I’ve had them print at least 40 shirts for me. Some have been their designs, some have been mine that I emailed to them. Definitely a business that works hard and deserves the local support. I wanted to get customize jerseys for my family as Christmas presents this year and followed the Unilocal reviews to this place. And boy, I am so happy I did. They were able to recommend the best way to print on the polyester bland mesh for the jerseys I had. Apparently regular screen printing and vinyl printing wouldn’t have work. Great recommendation. The shirts came out great and with plenty of time to wrap them before Christmas

They definitely know their stuff here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back for more customized products!

Excellent work and fair prices. Have used them repeatedly for the Sailor Jerry Festival, Random Weirdos band, and Jenn Matthews tattoos. A great one stop shop with parking nearby.

I love coming to Blank Canvas! I always work with Caleb – he is super awesome and always so helpful! They are also very quick with getting our orders done.

Had a last minute tshirt order of over 20 and these guys got it done before the deadline (2 days YIKES!). So thankful for them!

We go to Blank Canvas for both professional and personal projects. Daniel and his team always delivers. They go out of their way to make sure your project is on time and of the highest quality. Highly recommended. They are hands down the best in Hawaii.

I was glad to find this business. Or that was my thoughts when I walked in. That was totally turned around in less than 10 minutes and I only hope others do not experience what I did.
I had a tshirt design in my mind. I have the design that I can easily draw out exactly how I want the design. This is not the first time I’ve had tshirts custom made for me. My who wedding party and helpers, including the presiding preacher wore a tshirt! It was a commemoration gift also. So I know what I’m doing.
I have been looking for even something close to my idea already printed. I have seen it already done.
So I read reviews and thought this place was the pot at the end of my Hawaiian rainbow.
The lady greeted me going in. That was as pleasant as it got. I got a few words out about what I wanted and then it felt like she was throwing verbal rocks at me to chase me out. I felt like I needed to duck. I held my hand up to stop it from coming at me.
She told me they charge 30 dollars an hour to design. They need two months to do the work.
When I asked if we could talk about my idea to see if it could be done, she repeated what she said, (I’m not deaf), and added she would need money up front before they started, (how can you charge something when you don’t know how long it will take to draw up??).
It was like she sized me up as not wanting my business. Well, guess what. She isn’t going to get it!
Sometimes Unilocal reviews can be trusted. And Unilocal reviews is what took me to this place. But they were dead wrong compared to my experience!

Talked with co-​owner Sandy at her jewelry shop and made it a point while downtown to also visit her family business at Blank Canvas. Stopped by to get a custom onesie for my daughter and tshirt for my nephew that would be unique to wear at our next family get together. Caleb helped me pick out two designs and figure out what color tees to match it with since I have zero fashion sense. Finished in less than an hour even though I told him I would be back later in the week. Now that’s customer service!
I’ll be back to do a mommy/​daughter set with a custom design and maybe even a family custom tee set for an upcoming trip. Possibilities are endless!

Had a great experience at Blank Canvas. I got exactly what I wanted — a vintage tshirt with my own vintage logo. They even recommended other stores to buy inexpensive vintage style shirts that I could bring in to get printed.
They were quick, helpful and really great at follow up.
Would highly recommend.

Bands need to brand themselves. What kind of artist are you?
Here at Blank Canvas — it is a boutique feel to a normal t-​shirt shop. Sure they can do a normal bowling t-​shirt but heck that is just a waste of their talent and time. They are there to make an artistic statement. Memes, Grumpy Cat, Hope/​Change Parodies and pop culture are on the racks for you to browse through for a reason– get your creative juices going.
Way helpful staff. You know they are doing what they love to do.
Think back to some of the band shirts you have previously owned… Skid Row, Hansen, Iron Maiden, Devo, Prince, Def Leopard, Janet Jackson… All of them had style (their own some of them) and the feel to go along with their music and personality. What would your band say about you?
My favorite band t-​shirt was the King’s X self title album cover. An infant boy touching the band name in the concrete floor under a table of bread and wine. Just screams the identity of a metal band that can play and be the most respected in the field of music ability.
Price? Cheaper than a concert t-​shirt at an AList billing. For what you get– you are getting a good deal. Again– if you are a band and want to have the best swag for rocking out, you got to shill out a little dough to look cool and impress. The quality is good and you want to look for that instead of just going anywhere.

Come here! The print cost is so reasonable you’ll forget we’re in Hawaii. You can bring your own shirt for them to print on. The turnaround time is fast!
You can email them your image to print — it must be a Photoshop or Illustrator file. They look at how fancy the design is and give you a proper quote. You give them the shirt to print on and they let you know when it will be done by. You can pay before or at shirt pick up.

This place is the best! Tons of cool designs to choose from and the staff is extremely helpful and patient. I’ll definitely be back again (^_​^) Be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to browse!

I remember back in the day, when I used to travel a bunch with the ‘rents, and going to those novelty create-​your-​own t-​shirt stores…
My shirts were definitely creative and unique, but probably not as hip and cool as the ones you’d find and create at Blank Canvas.
Here’s how it works:
1. Flip through the books to pick a design and/​or any add-​ons.
2. Write your selection (s) & description of how you want it on the slips of paper included in each binder. (Custom designs also welcomed!)
3. Pick a tee, tank, dress, baby onesie, etc. (Type, size and color)
4. Hand your slip to one of the workers. (It only takes a few minutes!)
5. View, pay and enjoy!
I was told by one of the workers that Blank Canvas has over 1000 designs, so yes, lots of designs to choose from. I’m sure the bf and I spent at least 30 – 40 minutes in trying to decide on the designs, and another 10 – 15 minutes on the apparel to be screened with our chosen designs. It’s easy to get carried away. Really, it is. The quickest part of the process is the actual screening of the design. It takes less than 5 minutes for sure.
I now have a new «Kim Jong is Illin» tank, which, btw, I’m so ready to flaunt. And a Blank Canvas logo tank! (I love skulls, so I had to have it.)
And the bf has a new «Donkey Punch» tank and another really cool tee.
We had so much flipping through the tons of funny graphics and slightly suggestive designs. Can’t wait to go back for more.
